One-of-a-kind bungalow, 2 minute walk to beach (E. Coast Surf Capital), 2 blocks to 25+ bars (Coconuts), restaurants, shopping. Private parking for boat/trailer/rv, 4 blocks to boat ramp. Covered porch, grill, make this a perfect private get-away. Interior is cedar with Spanish tile floors. Outdoor shower completes this oasis. Beautifully landscaped private walled garden; 1 hour to Orlando, 20 miles to SpaceX Launch Pad 39A. Oasis de Palma, 3/2 home, also available on the property.

The space
The Cottage was completed with cedar and Spanish tile. Privately walled home and cabin are across the street from the beach. Fully equipped kitchenette, towels, sheets, beach chairs and star-filled sky provide you with the perfect private get-away. Effortless living in a tropical paradise. Oasis de Palma, the home, is also available through Airbnb.

Private parking is in lot behind main house. If you are coming from the North, go just beyond the left turn on South 2nd Street and you will see an opening in the gate. Looks like a park from the street. If arriving from the South, turn left on South Second Street and continue to stop sign. You will see a vacant lot on the left. Turn left on one way Orlando and make an immediate left into wooded lot. Park close to the brightly murelled wall. Wrought iron gate is easily opened by lifting it slightly to the left and pulling. We will have the gate ajar for your arrival.

Just an FYI, the cedar walls are beautiful and were installed during the renovation of this 1934 bungalow. They do have a woody fragrance. No smoking allowed on the property, please.

Guest access

Location, location, location, The Cottage is across the street from infamous Historic Cocoa Beach and walking distance to over 25 restaurants and clubs. We invite you to park your car and leave your troubles at the gate.

Jacuzzi is not available for guests' use.

Neighborhood highlights

Historic Cocoa Beach has beautiful sidewalks for walking or riding. The Cottage is a two block/beach walk to many bars, restaurants and shopping. Or ride bikes (bike rental available two blocks away). Park your car during your stay. A family-owned grocery market is three blocks away, offering everything from wine to ready-made gourmet items, as well as steaks for a barbecue. Beach chairs and towels provided.

Introduce yourselves to the "security patrol" Libby, the black Kitty who helps to minimize the lizard and bug population. She is not invited into The Cottage, however. The barrier island of Cocoa Beach is a dune and is home to much tropical fauna and wildlife, including bobcats, turtles, rabbits, song birds, water birds and lizards.
