Our island house is one of the oldest half-timbered houses in the middle of the tranquil small town of Hitzacker on the historic city island. This is surrounded by the rivers Jeetzel and Elbe. Behind the house is a cozy garden/courtyard with beds and a large terrace.
Jeetzel, port and Elbe beach are very close.

The space
Our house is suitable for groups up to max. 10 persons. Hitzacker is particularly popular with cyclists and nature lovers, as the Elbe cycle path leads directly past here.
Cultural enthusiasts are also welcome here, as in addition to the annual Cultural Country Party, the nationally known music weeks regularly take place.
Bedroom 1 has a bunk bed for 2 people. Bedroom 2 has a single bed, which can be pulled out into a double bed, so that 2 people can comfortably sleep on a 1.80 m bed. Bedroom 3 has a wide double bed for 2 persons and a sofa bed ( suitable for 1 adult or 2 children). In bedroom 4 there is a sofa bed available for 2 people. If not so many beds are needed, this room can be used as a reading or TV room. An extra living room is not available. In the common/dining room, a maximum of 10 people can sit at the table and a fireplace ensures coziness. Firewood is available.
If ordered in advance, we will be happy to fill your fridge with (if possible) regional organic products at an additional cost.
