We stayed at Ruths for three nights during race week. The house was perfect for us eight women and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Ruth was so welcoming and had everything prepared for us. The house was a short walk from the city centre and we couldn't have had a nicer few days. We would love to go back again next year! Thanks Ruth!!

The location is old but clean. The space with 4 bedrooms is totally sufficient for 8 people. There are no "fake" beds which happen to be the couch in the living room or so. The living room may be a bit small for 8 people, but come on, it's Galway and you are a 10 minutes taxi ride away from the center, that is not a minus for such a big and pricy house. Ruth was a perfect host and I would come back any time I come back to Galway! Thanks a lot Ruth for your hospitality. We had a great time in your house!

Ruth was available, welcoming and smiling. The house was huge and the beds comfortables. The parking place just in front of the door was really practical. The kitchen was old but functional. The area was quiet and the neighborhood friendly. But we had to walk 20 to 25 minutes to be in the center of Galway. I would recommend this house, especially if you are many because there's a lot of space.

30 Ashe Road is a great house. Well looked after. We stayed there ( 4 of us) all of whom are well used to staying in 4/5 star accommodation and also a first for using AirBnB over the Galway Races Festival and hence we referred to it as a "boutique hotel" as it was as good as any with good sized rooms, seriously well equipped including an iron which came in handy when it came to suiting and booting up. The place was spotless and well maintained. There was also an impressive bathroom with a great sized shower. The place was secure and safe with off street parking. The owner of this little boutique hotel / House - Ruth, was extremely professional and responded to all our needs including coming down early and leaving our bags there. There was a host of services around including a great place for breakfast two blocks away. Not sure how far it is to walk into town from here as we used hailo all the time but it was not far. Really good stay and many thanks to Ruth again.

Ruth was a lovely host and very helpful. She was also very patient when I was late arriving due to traffic. The house is very comfortable, clean and had everything we needed for a family weekend away. Would highly recommend both her and the property.

We enjoyed our stay at Ruth's house a lot. It was great having a separate room for everybody! As shown on the pictures it is not a new house but the rustic house is in very good shapw. The beds were very comfortable and the main bathroom is renovated. The kitchen is - although a bit used - is very well equipped with all the devises you ned. Ruth bought also food for us (many thanks again!). There is also a nice garden and a living room for nice evenings at home. To the coach/train we walked about 30 minutes. The busses 402 and 405 also bring you to the centre in a few minutes. If we return to Galway in group we would definitly come back to Ruth's place!
