The Pink Line is an 8 minute walk from my building, the 60 bus stops on the corner and drops you off downtown chicago at millenium park, the 21 bus can take you to McCormick place in 15 minutes and the 18th Street bus stop is just down the block. Our public transportation service is called CTA. If you are driving, free street parking is generally available on Cullerton Street and 21st Street. On occasion I offer a private parking space behind my building for $20 a day.

Interaction with Guests
I have a busy lifestyle. I love to interact with my guest with a cup of tea if our schedule permits us.
My flat is located near the Pink Line in the center of the Pilsen artist district. The neighborhood has a vibrant Hispanic community and is full of galleries, artist studios, and unique murals. Within walking distance of my apartment are great restaurants, grocery stores, taquerías, bars, and a large selection of vintage fashion shops. The National Museum of Mexican Art and the Chicago Arts District are also close by. An open studio and gallery walk event takes place on the second Friday of each month and draws hundreds of people to the neighborhood to check out the art and nightlife. Pilsen is a pedestrian and bicycle friendly neighborhood. I find it to be very safe, but of course we are in a city and it is always good to be mindful of your surroundings when walking alone.
The bus #60, it's a 2 minute walk to it. It takes 20-30 minutes to the Chicago Cultural Center (tourist office) depending on traffic. OR, walk to the pink line train (metro) my stop is called 18th Street

In January it's pretty cold in Chicago, so my room was heated when i arrived and teabags were ready for some tea. The apartment is close to the center and in the Mexican neighborhood, but i didn't feel unsecure at any second. You will find some nice Mexican food places in the near, i liked the La Catrina Cafe the most. You can get there Matcha Latte with rice milk. The apartment was clean and Nicole responded fast to my messages. I can recommend Nicole and her apartment!
Pilsen was a fun place. Nicole's house is very eccentric mid century. Clean and tidy. Nicole is a very friendly and helpful host. Overall very good for my first ever airbnb experience. I would stay with her again.
Great place to stay and Nicole is an awesome host. She is really a wonderful and caring person. Thank you, Nicole!!!
AMAZING host. Nicole allowed for great comfort at her place. I felt as if I was at my own home. Extremely knowledgeable of chicago. The commute to the city was very easy. 8 minute walk to the train station and or a 2 minute walk to bus stop. No need to rent a car. Highly recommend Nicole ' s place for anyone looking to visit the windy city.
Nicole was an incredible host in Chicago. She was very thoughtful and made be feel welcome. The bed was very comfortable. Super close to downtown and the bus stop is 2 minutes from the apartment. I would highly recommend booking this room.
Nicole's room was a wonderful place in a diverse and lively neighborhood. Clean and comfortable room. Nicole's welcome was very positive, she gave me a list of places to go out for dinner in the surroundings. A perfect way to discover a different Chicago from the typical touristic area and 20 minutes to the downtown. Strongly recommended!
