Very Nice historic home minutes away from downtown Large Kitchen for cooking, High ceilings, Hardwood floors, Bath is shared. Nice hot tub to relax in private backyard (skinny dipping nudity ok) . The train stop is 5 minutes walking distance from my place so no need to rent a car if your flying in or out of the city. The room is large and furnished. Free wifi and cable TV You are just minutes away from downtown Atlanta Attractions Ga Dome, Turner Field, Ga Aquarium, Coca Cola Museum and lots of cool bars and places to eat some good southern cooking. • The host was excellent just like the other reviewers said. We had no problems sharing the bathroom with other guests. The house was casual and historic. It is not restored, but very much lived in. Our room did have an original fire place, but it is more for decoration today. The house was reasonable clean. Our room was small but adequate including a round table with two chairs. The bed was comfortable. The wifi was free and the signal was very strong. We did not have a car. It is a 10 minute walk to the West End MARTA - subway/train, an excellent way to travel the city. For the shortest way to the house, you need to cross railroad tracks to walk from the subway to the house. There is a shopping mall near the subway. All in all it is an excellent value for the price.

  • Tim was a great host! He's very personable and very willing to give recommendations. The bedroom we stayed in was a bit small but The bed was very comfortable and it was great for my husband and I. Tim also has super friendly cats and a super friendly dog, which was a bonus for us animal lovers. I definitely recommend a stay at Tim's house.

  • It is the 2nd time I go to Tim's place, and it is as nice as the 1st time. Tim is still a great host, and his cats and dog are still very welcoming!

  • The house was very nice. A sliding door separated us from the rest of the house. Wonderful little dog and a couple of cats were in the living room. The host had his daughter in from college who spoke with us about the different activities in Atlanta. Great night, comfy bed, and cute animals.

  • Tim was beyond helpful. My reserved car rental fell thru but Tim walked me thru everything. He told me about the public transportation and what bus and train to catch. He stayed in constant communication with me from time of arrival in ATL until my departure from his home. THANK YOU Tim! God bless

  • Tim's place was great! He was super flexible regarding our check-in time, which we really appreciated! He even made a run to the store for me to pick up a few food essentials! My boyfriend and I really enjoyed our stay!

  • Staying with Tim was a great experience! At first we (my boyfriend and I) were a little nervous, because we'd never used Air BnB before, and we let ourselves in to the house which was empty. But as it turned out the bed was awesomely comfortable with a TV we vegged out on, and when we met Tim the next morning we had a wonderful time talking with him (and he made us cappuccinos!). He has several pets in the location we stayed at, but they were all very sweet and quiet, so ended up being a bonus for us because we love animals. The room we slept in seemed to be off limits to pets though, so if you don't like animals it shouldn't be much of an issue.
Thanks Tim for the last-minute reservation and allowing us to stay with you!

  • Another seamless stay w/ Tim. His new dog Alvin is too cute, helped cure our homesickness for our two pups. Check-in and checkout was smooth, room was in great shape, and this mattress is really cozy. A perfect spot for our one-nighter in ATL.

  • Tim is a very nice host. Easy, uncomplicated, friendly, open minded. The house and the room is well equipmented and you get a fresh coffee or tea :-). I stayed there for 2 nights and it was a pleasure to me.

  • Holy Memory foam mattress! the room was cozy and tastefully decorated. The kitchen was well stocked with coffee tea espresso ect so that was a plus. Common areas smelled a bit like cat, but not terribly off putting. This is not a space for folks with animal allergies (Because there were a couple very friendly and cute cats there to say hello to!). But of you're cool with that its a decent place to rest your head if you aren't afraid of being of the west side of ATL which isn't one of the nicer areas to walk around. Only a 10 min walk to west end station though! We didn't see Tim, but we texted him with questions and he responded immediately every time. Overall a nice place.

About
I am a very relaxed and easygoing and open minded guy looking to host people and make new friends around the world. I have always wanted to work in the hospitality industry since I was a kid it was a dream of mine to own my own bed and Breakfast. I lived in my home on Tift Ave for almost eleven years. I have hosted many friends and travelers from around the world in my historic home. Now that I found out about Air BNB, I am opening my home to you. I now have four properties close to downtown Atlanta two in historic Capital View neighborhood and two in Historic Adair Park neighborhood. they are both very close to downtown and walking distance from the marta train station and bus stops so Its very easy to get around the city without the need for a car. Several of the homes also can be booked entirely for larger groups.I also have many hostel spaces available great for travelers on a budget. I love to share travel stories drink good wine and eat good food. I like almost anything as far as food goes and red and white white alike as well (email hidden). I really don't have any major rules just be a polite guest as I will be a great host and even show you around if you need me to. I also love the outdoors and know some great places to hike in Atlanta. I also love to cook, drink wine or beers and eat good food and have a Nice large kitchen for you to make yourself at home in as well as each house has a great private backyard and fire pit and large front porches, The house I live at on Tift Ave has a hot tub that's great for skinny dipping and also has 3 cats and a small dog you will love. My other properties do not have any animals unless a guest happens to have one.
