For anybody looking for a personal, warm and welcoming place in the heart of Brooklyn in a house full of character - this is the place to go! Plus: VERY family-friendly: Our daughter and son very much enjoyed the baby cot, special towels, toys, children books etc.! Great breakfast, great location for Boffklyn as well as Manhattan, great hosts. Thank you so much, Christopher and Constanze. Highly recommended.
What a wonder first experience with Airbnb. The location was wonderful for our daily trips into Manhattan and a perfect location to explore Brooklyn as well. The subway station was steps from the house. Christopher met us at the door upon our (very early) arrival and instantly made us feel welcome in his home, which was a fascinating mix of old and new, as it is in the process of being renovated. However our rooms were spacious, clean and comfortable with a very modern large bathroom down the hall. The breakfast was delicious and filling, the perfect start to our busy days. We will definitely be visiting again and would highly recommend this charming BnB to all. We left feeling we had made new friends! (There is a long set of stairs to climb to the second floor, so be aware.)
I am so pleased to review this great location. The owners were very warm and friendly. The rooms were spacious and comfortable. The location is amazing, especially the walkability factor and access to neighborhood entertainment. You can eat really well within a block and the streets are gorgeous brownstones and very safe. I will be returning every other month it was that good! Thank you to the Steinon family for being so welcoming!
We have had the fortune of staying with Christopher before. The rooms are beautiful and have a great sense of style. The location is amazing as well. It is a two minute walk to the Atlantic Barclay's subway station, and a five minute walk to great restaurants on Brooklyn's fifth avenue. Christopher's breakfasts in the morning make for a great start to each day.
As always, thanks so much Christopher for being so helpful and welcoming. My family and I look forward to staying with you again!
Our hosts were very kind and accepted us warmly. They helped us to carry our laguage to our room, which was a big help for us. The place is ideal as a base to tour Manhaten and sites in Brooklyn, as it is near a large subway station,. There is also a good shopping center at the same place, so it was also good for some small shopping.
We asked for some changes in our breakfast - and every thing was welcomed.
Most of the time we had the bathroom only for us - so it was like a private room with bathroom.
We would like to thank Christopher and wife for the warm they have extended to us.
Perfeito. Servido por várias linhas de metrô, ao lado de supermercado, shopping, restaurantes e arena esportiva.
O Chistopher e sua esposa foram ótimos, nos deixando bem a vontade na casa. Ambiente familiar.

We live in Brooklyn, New York and love it. Constance is an artist and Christopher an architect and together we’ve both collaborated to restore this historic house to its present condition. We like traveling, meeting new people and doing all things that come with visiting new places.
