Stay in the historic Wyckoff-Mason House, a Pittsburgh Historical landmark. This beautifully kept log house built in 1774-75, still maintains the colonial charm of pre-revolutionary times. This property has a storied past, including local lore that it was the residence of William Penn’s brother and was visited by Benjamin Franklin.

This relaxing getaway is located in one of Pittsburgh’s eastern suburbs. Get the best of the countries antiquity while visiting the city. We love all people.

The space
Doorways are lower than the average and the floors slope in some areas being this is a 1774 log house. Beware as you walk to the bathroom. The bathroom is at the end of the upstairs so a walk through the second bedroom is necessary to get to it.

Where you’ll be

Verona, Pennsylvania, United States

The neighborhood is quiet and readily available to stores and restaurants. The Post Office in the town of Verona is 1 mile down the road. A shopping center (River Town Shops) with a grocery store, Chinese food, Dollar store, liquor store, beer distributor, McDonalds is approx. 1.5 mi. away with another shopping area (Penn Hills Shopping Center) approx. 4.5 mi, away with the same and MORE. Another area very close is Oakmont with nice Shoppes and restaurants. Hoffstots and Chelsea Grill are very popular as well as the home town What's Cooking at Casey's. Several Pizza places in the area too. Oakmont has a nice walking lane through the town as well as there shop sidewalks.
