  • Ben and Prachi were excellent hosts and the room is located in a nice, safe part of town in South Delhi. Of note, we were looking for a place that would feel safe and hosts who could help us get more of a local experience. Staying with Ben and Prachi definitely met both needs. They were helpful, informative, and welcoming. The place is nice and clean, there is a small balcony that we enjoyed.
I would also point out that this stay is a good choice for female travelers. All in all we got everything we were looking for from our stay with Ben and Prachi- highly recommended.

  • Loved the stay as usual! Thanks to Ben and Brahmpal for making my stay comfortable.

    March 2014
  • Ben was really helpful, we arrived very early in the morning so he arranged for us to sleep in their roof terrace appartment for a few hours until our room was available (slight downside we had to book the night so ended up paying 2 lots of AirBnB fees).

    On the plus side:
The room itself is large and clean with the best bathroom we've had in India.
The location is great, close to the centre but peaceful.
The guidebooks and maps were really helpful
Breakfast was simple and tasty and set us up for the day
It was great to have a kitchen and fridge we could use
The mineral water supply works really well

    On the downside:
It was disappointing that there wasn't any hanging space given the wardrobes (all locked).
I would like to be able to lock the room - I'm sure all the other guests are friendly (they were when we were there) and that Brampal is there most of the time - still just for reassurance.
The apartment felt a little tired - in need of a good sort out and tidy.

  • I had a wonderful stay at Ben & Prachi's apartment. The room is just as described and seen in the photos.
The apartment is a great place for travellers, and I met some wonderful people occupying the other rooms, from Canada and UK, who were passing through. Since I was there for 8 days, I was able to settle in easily, and Brahmpal the housekeeper was most helpful. I really appreciate how well Brahmpal looks after all the guests.
Ben and Prachi were in Pune, so I missed the chance to meet them, but I was amazed how well they have thought of everything that a traveller needs. The flat is equipped with everything for a traveller.
Communicating with Ben through the process of booking the place until I landed there, and later his thoughtful messages about local transport and other information are also to be appreciated.
I now know why Ben & Prachi's place is so popular! I would love to go back there whenever I am in Delhi next and recommend it to everyone who is looking for a comfortable and secure place in central Delhi, in a nice cozy neighbourhood. The host ensures that your stay is smooth, relaxed and hassle-free.

  • The house is excellent and the rooms are very good, all have private bathrooms and the hot water really works.
    super clean.
    and has an elevator!
breakfast is very good and Mr. Bramphal which supports is very kind and helpful.
We can always count on Ben and his help is endless!
We can count on him for anything, anytime.
    stayed 10 days in total,
    in three divided times,
we always leave our baganes there.
and come and go at any hour of the morning to catch aircrafts.

    just so worth getting there:)

    good location.
if you need a rickshaw, ask Ben the contact of Babu, it was extraordinary.

    I will come back!

    January 2014
  • As always, Ben is the consummate host. He went out of his way to allow me to stay in his room while he was gone for two days, given that the other two rooms were full. It was incredibly comfortable and he made it a point to check and see how things were doing, even while he was in Paris! Ramu, the apartment coordinator, is also wonderful and very welcoming. When I come to Delhi again, I will definitely be back. Ben is awesome!

    November 2012
  • There is not a bad thing to say about our stay. Ben and Prachi are very welcoming and helpful hosts and made us feel at home from the first minute (even at 1am). From a ride from the airport to the best place to pick up a rickshaw or where to have a great new years dinner, they were accomodating on all fronts and I would recommend visitors to Delhi to consider staying with them. They are also a wealth of knowledge on the city and India and we learned quite a bit just chatting over chai.

The apartment is exactly as described with comfortable beds and plenty of common space to watch tv or read or eat. The kitchen has everything you need and they have water available bulk or in bottles. Brampal was a great help and makes a very tasty omelette. And the shower was great, plenty of hot water and good pressure, especially after a long day out in the city. Nizamuddin east is centrally located and felt very safe. we found it very easy to get to and from and all the drivers in town know where it is.

  • wieder einmal perfekt!! :)

  • Really great place ! Very very very nice couple ! Ben and Prachi are soooo sweet. I absolutely recommend this place. A home in Delhi !!!

    December 2013
  • My stay with Ben and Prachi was more than I ever could have hoped. Although they were out of Delhi when I arrived, Ben was enormously helpful, as my VISA card with all my travel money on it had been mistakenly deactivated. The assistance he provided was invaluable, and I was able to arrange money transfers, travel plans etc. with his help.
Staying with Ben and Prachi was definitely a highlight of my visit to Delhi.
