Situated right next to the Aberdare National Park,Aberdare Cottages is an exclusive lodge ideal for lovers of nature and anyone who would like to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city. Buffet breakfast and sun downers can be served right next to the Mathioya River on request. The host also organizes game drives and hikes inside and around the Park. It makes for a good base to explore the Aberdare & Mount Kenya circuit as it is about an hours drive to Aberdare National Park .The community around are all tea farmers so you are inside a working tea farm with sprawling tea farms all around you enhancing the lushness. For the adrenalin junkies rafting in the Sagana River 1hr drive away can be arranged on request.We organize mountain climbing to most of East African mountains including Mt Kilimanjaro,Mt Kenya and The Aberdare Mountains.
