About This Listing
Beautiful small studio/apartment near the Spanish Steps and Piazza del Popolo. Third floor without elevator. Lounge with 2 sofa beds, loft with double bed. Kitchen. A very very small bathroom with shower. Bright, in the way of artists and in the historical center of Rome. 5 minute walk from two Metro stations (Piazza di Spagna and Piazzale Flaminio) to St. Peter, Musei Vaticani and Termini rail station. One nice restaurant just in front of the apartment and many others nearby (one nice vegetarian). Just in the middle of the fashion streets (via del Babuino, Via Condotti, Piazza di Spagna, ecc.)
Alessandro was a great host. He welcomed us and was very helpful. The apartment is absolutely wonderful. Even better than the photos! We were very comfortable and after long days seeing the sights, we looked forward to returning to our special place. As other reviewers have said, the location too is perfect - great for sightseeing, shopping and eating. We hope to return in the near future. Highly recommended.
Alessandro is a perfect householder and helped us very much for everthing.we had everything in the house(red and white vine, pasta, cheese, biscuits etc.) House is very very center of rome between piazza del poppolo and spanish steps and very easy to find.u can go out safely because the position of the house is very center.we have hot water all the time and the bed was very comfortable.there is a very popular restaurant in front of the house and many shops in the street.thanks again for everything alessandro,if we come again to rome we will stay in the same place.
The place is fantastic! I was so lucky to find it and spend a terrific weak in Rome at the very end of April.
The location is perfect: it's the very center, 5 min walk from the Spanish Steps and Piazza di Popola. The neighborhood is very nice and interesting to explore. I'd been spending hours walking on via Margutta and stepping by to smal galleries, antique shops, design boutiques and art boothes.
There are a lot of nice places to eat and drink. And there's a large park area nearby - i went jogging every day rested on the green grass in a shadow of blooming treas afterwards.
The apartment itself is an amazing mix of contemporary art exhibition and a library. I found a lot of interesting books to read during my stay. At the same time it is perfectly equipped to have a comfortable stay.
Alessandro is a perfect host and an interesting person to talk to.
I would definitely recommend this place and would love to come back one day.
We loved this little jewel! In a top spot between Piazza del Popolo (Metro Flammino) and the Spanish Steps (Metro Spagna) at the top of a marble staircase you will find the unique and eclectic interior of this cosy studio apartment with super-comfy beds, well equipped kitchen and a pocket sized bathroom. There's a lovely restaurant downstairs, trendy boutiques, bars and easy access by foot or public transport to reach all of Rome's treasures. Alessandro is a lovely host, very obliging, and the kitchen was stocked with everything we needed to start our stay in Rome. We liked it so much we are returning to stay there again later in our trip :)
