My friends and I had a great stay with Nan and Scott. The rooms were comfortable, and the hosts were friendly and accommodating. We didn't spend a ton of time at the house because we were in town for a conference, but we appreciated breakfast and the option to borrow a bike.
Nan and Scott's house is in a great location in south Minneapolis. Unfortunately, the accommodations did not work for my father and aunt, who were in town for a wedding for five days. The issue was the shared bathroom with the family, which I did not notice in the details of the rental. They were not comfortable sharing one bathroom and shower with two other guests (four people in one bathroom for five days!), so they moved to a hotel. Nan was great about making the change, and very understanding. The refund was very prompt.
Nan and Scott were very welcoming. They demonstrated a generosity and courtesy we would expect from our closest friends.
This was our first time using AirBnB as a family, and it couldn't have gone better. Nan & Scott were very welcoming. They were patient with our kids and even played music with them in the morning. We loved the space, including the lovely back yard. The neighborhood was very cozy, and I only wish we had more time to explore it. Would absolutely rent from again.
We had a very pleasant stay at this location. I am a cat lover so Bear was a wonderful treat to have around. It was just like being at home.
We had a wonderful stay at Nan and Scott's! The rooms are cozy and clean. The space gave us all the privacy we needed. They are friendly, helpful hosts. We especially appreciated their hospitality toward our toddler. She slept great here and all the toys and books in the art room kept her very occupied. Plus, there's a great playground only a block away. We would definitely stay again!
Nan and Scott are wonderful. They squeezed us in at the last minute when the airbnb host we were scheduled with canceled due to a party or something. The rooms are comfortable and nice, very clean. They are in the basement, with a bathroom between. Upstairs is the host's space, but we felt welcome to come and get breakfast the next morning. At that time, we had a great chat with Nana and Scott. They are both very interesting and friendly people. My kids and I are moving to the Twin CIties and they told me about schools and such. They aslo invited us to attend a major Mnpls parade the next day that they were going to be in. We didn't see them in the parade, as the park was crowded, but we enjoyed a great time in Powderhorn Park watching the festivities. Very comfortable. Great people!

We truly love creating a welcoming space for guests. We love cooking fabulous meals and sharing conversation over a bottle of wine with any guests who are interested. And the space is great for folks who want quiet and privacy. We both bike a LOT, and can help you explore the "most bike friendly city in the U.S." We're pretty up on the current music scene too. Scott owns a graphic design and marketing business, and Nan is a chaplain/religion teacher/service coordinator at a near by school.
