It has timber flooring in main areas and carpet in the master bedroom.
Space is perfect for up to 6 guests (2 double beds + 1 double air mattress - soon to be upgraded to double sofa beds).
Fresh towels, linens and beddings, toilet paper (first roll) and some toiletries are provided.
Stylish 2 bedroom flat, 2 mins from Earls Court tube, 4 mins from Gloucester Rd tube. Located on the Piccadilly line, this flat is super convenient to Knightsbridge, Soho, and all the sights of London. Direct underground link to Heathrow (NO CHANGE) on Piccadilly line.
Kensington & Chelsea is one of the most attractive areas of London. It is the home to several major museums such as Natural History museum and Science museum.
The famous department stores Harrods, Peter Jones and Harvey Nichols are also located in Kensington. Hyde Park is a short walk away, and if you walk through the park you will reach Oxford Street, the most famous shopping street in London. Most attractions of London are within easy reach, such as Big Ben, Buckingham Palace and Piccadilly Circus.
There are plenty of bars, and especially King’s Road is known for its many bars, restaurants and clubs. Notting Hill is only a short journey away where you can enjoy lots of small shops, trendy cafés and bars and the exciting Portobello Market.
There are plenty of tube stations in the area that will take you wherever you want to go in London. If you want to enjoy the extensive night life London has to offer, there are also plenty of buses and night buses running 24/7 from all directions in London.

Positive: Fast response on emails. Location of flat is good and very close to shops, restaurants and tube. Sainsbury is just around the corner and have everything we need. House and flat was nice and modern. Good kitchen area.
Walkable distance to Natural History Museum.
We were not told which apartment was allocated to us. Pictures were misleading as we thought we were given a lower floor (since i have 3 elderly with me). We were ended up given the top storey (have to climb 4 storeys high with our heavy luggages) and I don't think it was ok. Booked and paid for something that's different upon my arrival is not acceptable. Host should have told us beforehand and if i knew it, i would not have booked this high storey apartment. If you have difficulties with stairs you shouldn't stay here unless it's on the first floor. We felt breathless almost everyday after we climbed the stairs and entered our apartment and you felt worst when the door code system didn't work well (see below).
The doors are opened with a code system which is fine but most of the time we have difficulties opening the door as the green light on the system flash passed pretty quickly and we ended up being locked outside the apartment. We have to try at least 2-3 times and push the door pretty hard to open it.
There was no heater in the toilet. Clothes could not get dry up in the autumn season.
Wifi was pretty unstable for laptop user. My uncle could not connect to the wifi using his laptop and agent could not do much about it.
Only 2 toilet rolls given to us (for 5 adults over 6 days stay). Agent said "finished then that's it"
There's washing machine given but no washing powder (didnt use their washing machine as didn't want to damage their machine with random washing detergent and ended up having to pay for the machine).
Beds are not that comfortable.
I may book this place again provided it's on the 1st floor and not during autumn/ winter season.

Positive: Response on emails were very good and the overall booking procedure both with Air bnb and Imaan was easy. Location of flat is excellent and very close to shops, restaurants and tube. You have everything you need around the corner. House and flat was nice, clean and modern. Good bathroom and kitchen area.
Negative: Although I followed instructions for arrival the person checking us in was late and I had to call to see if they were on their way, as it was quite cold waiting outside. We had booked flat no5 but on arrival we got flat no6 which I don't think is ok. If I book and pay for something I don't expect to get something different on arrival. Because of this we didn't want to pay for the extra bed space, which they excepted.
The blinds for the windows were broken and you couldn't pull them up in the bedrooms. Beds are really hard and unconfortable. One bed had a broken board so only one person could sleep there.
If you have difficulties with stairs you shouldn't stay here unless it's on the first floor. The doors opens with a code system which is ok but they didn't feel very secure.
Would I book a flat here again? Yes, probably, but I would make sure I get what I'm paiying for!
Wir waren vom 13.-19. April 2013 im Appartment 5. Wir waren begeistert! Die Einrichtung entspricht genau den Bildern. Die Wohnung war sauber und in sehr gutem Zustand. Die Gegend ist ruhig und super gelegen.
I stayed in 29 Collingham Place, Apartment 7. It was a walk up - so definitely not suitable for people with bad knees or older folks who have difficulty with stairs. The kitchen and bathroom are nice. It's the top floor so you have access to the rooftop which gives it lots of light. However, those are pretty much the only good things....I would not have had a problem with this place if I were spending maybe $150/night. But at over $325/night, it's a total rip-off.
I think the owners, Imaan and Bobby, have a bunch of apartments. They might even have the entire building. So this isn't your typical AirBnB stay where you're being welcomed into someone's home. They are, it seems, attempting to run a Fraser Suites type of place - "attempting" being the key word, since they are not pulling it off. Here are a few reasons why:
1) It was quite dirty. The couches had DISGUSTING stains all over them. They looked like they hadn't been cleaned in years...and like it was lifted out of a frat boy's apartment. If the hosts cannot keep their couches clean, then they should at least have the sense to get a dark slip cover. Also, the floor boards were coming up in the bedroom. The animal rug you see in the picture was filthy. And the walls all had stains on them as well. I scratched my body in discomfort most nights in bed.
2) They advertise this as having "Scandinavian" design. By that they mean Ikea-designed. So expect really uncomfortable springy-beds and wobbly tables.
3) Wifi was awful: very slow and then for 2 days just simply didn't work. When I complained, the building manager for Imaan/Bobby actually suggested that I take my laptop to the second floor (I was on the 6th) and work from the bottom floors...which is RIDICULOUS as I would have had to sit in the stairwell. I later found out that other tenants in the building complained and got a MiFi/personal hot spot. I never got this.
4) I'm pretty sure no one actually lives here. For that reason, it doesn't have basic things like hair dryers, tupperware, toilet paper holder (!), garbage bags...they give you a hair dryer if you ask, but clearly Imaan and Bobby aren't thinking through the user experience.
5) The entire booking experience felt like a corporate transaction similar to a hotel...but they clearly have minimal hospitality experience. And so the booking experience comes off like a borderline slumlord transaction. Although you are verified on AirBnB, they have "had many bad experiences" so you have to send them photocopies of your passport/credit card (which made me VERY uncomfortable) and they ask for 250 GBPs "IN CASH" as a deposit (which I refused and paid through AirBnB).
For comparison, I'm staying at the Taj Apartments at 51 Buckingham Gate now and it's ~$75-100 more/night. It's bigger than 29 Collingham, I get maid service 2x/day, room service, and it's SPOTLESS.

The apartment is in great condition and well equipped, the location is excellent (2 minutes walk from Earl's court, restaurants and there's even a huge supermarket nearby).
Imaan and Haffendi are great! they are very committed and have excellent availability.
If you really want to experience London to the max don't think twice.
The apartment is very well located and it looks great, exactly like the pictures.
The hosts are very friendly, helpful and flexible.
We had a great time, and wouldn't mind to come back at all!
The apartment is perfect! Much better that in the photos! And Haffendi it's very kind. He has facilitated everything. It has been a perfect stay. If we return we will repeat undoubtedly.
We had a great stay in flat 5, it was clean, comfortable and quite good value for money. They were very helpful and arranged a late checkout for us. There's no lift so the stairs may be challenging for some. We would stay here again.
