CASA GUADALUPE 1 is an artistic one bedroom home with a loft that can sleep 4. The house is very cozy with wonderful indoor and outdoor spaces and is great being together or finding your own private space. There is also a covered sitting area and an outdoor garden with a dining table. In addition there is a rooftop garden that is shared with Casa Guadalupe 2 where you can watch the sunset, read or sunbath.

The space

CASA GUADALUPE 1 - HOUSE DESCRIPTION: The house has a master bedroom with a Queen bed and a loft above that has an additional matrimonial bed. The loft is open to the downstairs bedroom and the bathroom is shared. There is a covered patio with a sofa and a lovely sitting area. This makes the house ideal for a couple, close friends or a family with 1 or 2 children. The open floor plan contains a kitchen, dining area and living room which look out to the lovely garden patio which is a wonderful place to have your meals.

In addition the house also includes a large rooftop patio that is partially covered. This mirador is shared with our other two bedroom house Guadalupe 2 and has fabulous views of the city.

MAID SERVICES: We provide maid service three days a week to wash your clothes, clean the house, make your beds, wash your dishes and take care of the many plants that grace the property. Marta works at the house Tuesdays, Thursdays and Saturdays.

Guest access

GUEST ACCESS: Our guests will have sole access to Casa Guadalupe 1 with their own keys. The rooftop mirador is shared with Casa Guadalupe 2. The house has a street door, an inner gate and a front door which all lock for complete security.

Very clean home. Anything we needed, we got a prompt response! Great rooftop view of San Miguel! Stairway to the loft bedroom is steep and would be difficult to navigate for some people. there is another bedroom within the apartment without any staircase.

This is a beautiful place in San Antonio neighborhood. It's about 15-20 min lovely walk to center of town but 5 min walk to Instituto, parque Juárez, organic market, etc. There is a bus that drops off right at the corner as well. We absolutely loved the location!!! The actual place has beautiful architecture and design. My only complaint is it is quite dark during the day. Although there are beautiful floor to ceiling door/windows, there is not much direct sun into the house, at least in the winter. I visited the apartment above us and it got lovely light. I think being on the bottom floor effects that greatly. The rooftop terrace is incredible with great views. It is also a little chilly in the winter but Marta helped us get a substantial space heater which helped tremendously. Marta was wonderful! She came every other day and kept the place very clean. I look forward to visiting San Miguel sometime in the future!

Beautiful casita. Stunning courtyard and relaxing rooftop. Just far enough away from downtown but still close to everything.

The house is absolutely charming, very good communication with owner and people involved in receiving us and housekeeping. Location is great; just far enough from downtown to be quiet, but close enough to walk to town at any time.

My wife Christine and I bought our home in San Miguel in 2005. We spent 7 weeks remodeling the house and have enjoyed it ever since. I am a photographer and am teaching a workshop in San Miguel for Day of the Dead, October 29 - November 4th, 2013. You can go to this website and learn all about it if you are interested in attending.
