We had a lovely stay in St. Georges! We planned our weekend trip on very short notice, and Julian's prompt responses made booking our stay at the cottage easy. Julian was also kind enough to arrange for a taxi to pick us up at the airport. The cottage is very charming, and in a great location, just a few blocks from a grocery store, restaurants, and a bus stop that will take you all over the island. It really had everything we needed. Although we did not need to get in contact with him during our stay it was nice to know that we easily could have in an emergency.
We had a great time staying in this charming cottage. Upon our arrival we were greeted by the property manager who showed us the cottage and explained a couple of things about the island and St. George’s in particular. The cottage was exactly as described in the pictures. The kitchen was fully equipped with everything one needs and even more. The bathroom was really nice, the bedroom was spacious. The cottage’s location was ideal: close to the beaches, groceries (we went to Somers Supermarket), cafes/restaurants and of course St. George’s sites. The bus stop was just 5 minutes away from the house, which we took for a trip to Hamilton. Overall it was a great experience and I would definitely recommend this cottage!
This was perfect for a long weekend getaway! My wife and our 6-month old baby had the perfect amount of space, and the fold out crib was a great touch! The cottage was in the perfect spot for exploring St. Georges and we walked to the nearby beaches for picnic lunches every day. We had everything we needed and there was even a local cell phone at the place in case of emergencies. That was a very thoughtful touch.
Great cottage! The place to be ! Well furnished kitchen, great garden, confortable bedroom and great living room. Julian was very accomodating. I strongly recommand this place !
We were welcomed to the property by our gracious hosts who made us feel comfortable right away. The cottage is as charming as the photographs, renovated with a modern and pleasing vibe and was well-equipped to meet our needs. The location of the house in old St. George could not have been better within walking distance to beaches, attractions and amenities. The immediate neighbourhood is lovely and we felt very much at home in our surroundings.
We were given access to a house phone and our host made contact with us to ensure all was well during our stay. Our experience was very positive and our expectations were surpassed!
The reservation was canceled 97 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
This is a charming cottage on an equally charming lane. As described, it is within walking distance to the main area of the Old Town, with shopping and restaurants, as well as a food mart. Grocery prices are quite high, as compared to US, but so are restaurant prices. The air conditioning works fine. Walking distance to Tobacco Bay is 10-15 minutes and another 10 minutes to Catherine's Bay, which is worth the walk. The cottage is exactly as described and pictured on line. It is well furnished, and the bed has a wonderful mattress. Cozy.
