  • Couldnt have had a better time. Cabin was a bit warm, but nothing leaving the door open couldnt fix. Bring your own grill if you intend on grilling.

  • Short stay, but pretty much what I expected. As mentioned in other reviews, the cabin does not have A/C and it does get pretty warm. Very no frills and not particularly close to the "action", but that is accurately portrayed in the property description.

  • Nice cabin. Perfect for what I needed.

  • Good spot, nice quiet neighborhood and lots of nature close-by. We were satisfied with our stay and would book again at this price.

  • Great little cabin for a quick weekend getaway. Had everything we needed. Small and cozy, it was what we were looking for. Fast communication and easy to figure out. Check this place out!

  • House is a charming cabin located above a garage. Has nice fireplace and a vaulted wood panel ceiling. Nice deck too. Located about 5-10 minute drive from Big Bear Village. Located in neighborhood with many houses around. Furniture needs updating. Grills on deck appear broken as was the chair outside. Very good water pressure and hot water. You have to clean the cabin before you finish your stay. Overall, worth the price. Would consider staying again.

  • This was a good value. I stayed their with my two young kids while on their first ski trip. The cabin was as described and had everything needed for short trip to the mountains.

  • Great little cabin in Big Bear. Nothing extravagant, but just the sort of simplicity you want when heading up to the outdoors for some snow and/or relaxation. The place was clean, the fireplace was great, the porch was lovely and the cabin was stocked with all you need and more. Friendly neighbors and a charming little neighborhood.

Don't worry about any cooking or kitchen resources, this place was fully stocked and very helpful. In fact, everything was really well equipped.

The host was great and quick to communicate/respond to any of my questions!

Some reminders for you: He tells you to bring your own bedding and linen and be sure to! Make sure you pick up firewood and the necessary goods for a non-boyscout to start one. Places all over Big Bear sell firewood so it's no big deal. I might also suggest bring a lawn chair or 2 for the patio because the furniture out there was adequate, but not extremely comfortable.

Next time we're in Big Bear we'll be staying at this place again!

  • I highly recommend this place. Very well located. In the middle of the woods but in the same time 1 minute driving to the town and 5 to the slopes. The cabana is equipped with everything you will need. Very clean and cozy.
It's the perfect place for a ski vacation. The check in and check out are very easy.
I will for sure come back next time I will visit Big Bear. We enjoyed it a lot.
