The Glass House was our first stay at an Airbnb and it exceeded our expectations even after reading all the glowing reviews. Christine and Peter were the perfect hosts. They were friendly and helpful. They made suggestions of places to visit and provided us with maps of the area. They also made us a lovely breakfast in the morning to start our day. The breakfast is described as continental, but ours was a beautiful spread of fruit, cheese, meat, yogurt and a perfectly cooked soft boiled egg that we hope to replicate at home along with French pressed coffee. Our trip to Dingle was lovely, they made it exceptional. In addition to our wonderful hosts, the house is an architectural feat. It is beautifully designed and took full advantage of the panoramic coastal views. While all three bedrooms are on the second floor, the two bedrooms used by Airbnb guests have a separate staircase from the main living area and the design of the house affords guests a significant amount of privacy. I wouldn’t hesitate to recommend the Glass House to potential guests or stay there on my next visit.
From the moment I arrived, Christine and Peter made me feel like a special guest. They were so attentive and thoughtful at all times. The breakfasts were incredible! They are very creative people and have a beautiful home which is even nicer than the photos. The setting beside Inch Beach is amazing, as are the views from their beautiful glasshouse. It's a peaceful haven with excellent hosts.
We had a wonderful - although unfortunately short - time in the Glasshouse. Never before had we stayed with hosts as welcoming and caring as Christine and Peter. The service was perfect, from a fantastic welcome with tea and biscuits at the fireplace to a delicious breakfast in the morning. Christine and Peter were helpful in every possible way and even drove us to the next town, showing us the beauty of the Dingle peninsula on our way.
The house is a unique place on its own, displaying a love for detail and offering breathtaking views across Inch Beach/ the bay. I shall never forget the beautiful sunrise we could witness from our lovely and spacious room.
Thank you so much for welcoming us in your wonderful home! It was a great pleasure and we would not hesitate a single second to pay another visit to the glasshouse.
The Glasshouse, and its very charming and caring owners, was a pleasure for us to experience. They took such great care of us and made us feel very welcome in their beautiful home. The location, the service and the very friendly hosts are highly recommended.
After spending one week traveling across Ireland, the Glasshouse was hands down our favorite stay of the entire trip. Christine and Peter were absolutely fantastic on every level. They were friendly, eager to have us in their lovely home, and made one of the most delicious breakfasts we've ever eaten. We were truly astonished at their hospitality and everything about the stay was perfect. We arrived at the house after dark so we had no idea of the breathtaking view that awaited us when we woke up. Absolutely wonderful on every level. We cannot recommend this place enough! Thank you Peter and Christine!
Micah, thank you very much for your nice review. You are totally right, there should be a sign at the bottom of the hill. We installed one , but somebody removed it. So next time you will see a sign with proper installation.
All the best for you and Cara,
Our hosts, Christine and Peter couldn't have been more pleasant and accommodating. The Glasshouse did not disappoint us in anyway. It was spectacular in design, comfort and the views were beyond breathtaking. In person, The Glasshouse is even more magnificent than the photos shown on the website.
The bedroom and bathroom provided to us were very generous in size. Especially the bathroom which was huge. The décor of the home was wonderful and you certainly did feel at home thanks to Christine and Peter. They were "at your service" from the moment you arrived, yet maintained your privacy. They were very helpful with information regarding the Dingle Peninsula area. The Wild Atlantic Way did not disappoint us. What a wonderful part of Ireland. We will definitely return to this area and hopefully be able to obtain a reservation at the Glasshouse once again.
The breakfasts that were served by our hosts were so delicious and provided a large assortment suitable for all palettes. The tea and coffee were especially delicious. Many of the items were homemade.
The wood burning fire was a nice welcome when you arrived home late in the day (we were there on a rainy weekend.) Nothing to make you feel really cozy on a rainy day to sit in front of a fire and be served fresh tea and coffee and homemade cookies.
Dan and I want to extend a heartfelt thank you to Christine and Peter for their hospitality and sharing their beautiful home with us. Also for letting us discover one of the most spectacular areas of Ireland.
We will definitely recommend The Glasshouse to friends and family in Ireland and back home in Canada and the USA.
With many thanks and regards again to Christine and Peter, janette and Dan Nosella.
This year my husband Peter and I made the decision to start a B & B business in our family home THE GLASSHOUSE.
We have been visiting the Dingle peninsula on holiday for more than 30 years and our love for this beautiful part of the country has led us to now make it our home full time.
Our unique home was built 20 years ago and was designed by myself to accomodate family and friends who shared our love for the house and the area. We hope you will come as a stranger and leave as a friend.
