Guests love this home’s scenic location.
Come enjoy the ski season and a relaxing weekend at our private guest cabin in the woods. A brook flows through the backyard, providing a peaceful natural backdrop and a stone outdoor fire pit for great campfire fun. The main floor bedroom has 1 queen bed and the loft has 1 queen and 1 twin. There is also a living room couch. Just 5 min to town, 15-20min to Jay Peak! Use our vouchers for discount lift tickets! **We recently added “The Loft” listing on the other side of the same property**

***We have a strict no pets policy due to severe allergies. We also strictly limit number of guests at the property to 4 ppl to align with water and sensitive septic thresholds, along with fire safety code. Thanks so much for understanding! The entire guest cabin is free to use. The deck overlooks a flowing brook in the backyard. Come have a barbecue and relax by the brook in the comfy hammock. The living space is a loft with two beds and a main floor bedroom with one queen bed. There is a couch in the living room. Full kitchen for cooking. Bathroom amenities (shampoo, conditioner, body wash, hairdryer, towels) included. We have dsl wifi in Montgomery. Fire pit in the back yard. Firewood for sale at Sylvester’s in town. AUTOMATIC GENERATOR MEANS WE NEVER LOSE POWER:-)

***FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE (4WD) VEHICLES AND/OR SNOW TIRES ARE RECOMMENDED IN VERMONT DURING WINTER AND MUD SEASON END OF MARCH/APRIL. WE ALSO LIVE ON A (WELL-MAINTAINED) DIRT ROAD WHICH CAN MAKE TRAVEL DIFFICULT IN ICY CONDITIONS)***

Other things to note
4WD vehicles are recommended in this area (and most of Vermont) during winter conditions. We are on a dirt road (Gibou Rd) but it is well traveled and well maintained with plows and salting...there are a couple hills though so safe driving is key!
***if booking in March/April, the dirt road can get very messy for a couple days at a time. It’s impossible to predict but be aware, 4WD or a vehicle that can do a bumpy/muddy dirt road is HIGHLY recommended…one of the perks of living in the woods!!***
