The Hunter Greenhouse is a place to slow down, indulge in personal nostalgia, drink a glass (or two) of wine, and let your mind disconnect and wander. A place designed for friends and family. For good food and good conversation. There's hiking in the summer, skiing in the winter, mountain fresh air and dark, starry nights.

This is a house, and you can treat it as such. But if you let go, and give in to the energy of a space created with love, this will feel like home.

The Hunter Greenhouse is a three bed two bath 1971 flat roof A-frame located in Tannersville, NY in the heart of the Catskills - two hours north of New York City.

We are minutes away from the shops and restaurants in Tannersville, as well as Hunter and Windham ski resorts. We are located on North Lake Road, one mile from North-South Lake and Kaaterskill Falls, and surrounded by some of the best hiking in the Catskills.

Guest access
The house is officially situated on three acres but we back up to state protected land so feel free to roam the backwoods for as long as your legs can sustain you. We have a relatively long, dirt driveway so in winter months we strongly advise using a car with four-wheel drive. The entire home and grounds are available for your enjoyment!

Other things to note
The house is well appointed with everything you need for a comfortable stay, including a fully equipped kitchen, more coffee brewing devices than are probably necessary, Avalon Organics bath products, a record player, board games, books, and an internet/Netflix enabled TV.

All linens (towels, sheets, duvets) are by Parachute Home.

Please be respectful of our home and our belongings. A lot of time and effort has gone into making this space as comfortable as possible and we hope to share it for a long time.
