This unit is truly a Luxury condo room and is spacious and well appointed. The studio has been recently (May 2014) refreshed with new bedding (guaranteed to be 100% bed bug free) new paint, towels, and in room amenities .
The unit is 356 square feet & has a kitchenette, queen bed, marble floors, built in custom cabinets and a comfortable pullout sofa bed with a firm mattress reflecting a Hawaiian contemporary theme. Tropically styled, this is the perfect retreat after a day in the sun or an evening on the town.
Free Wi-Fi is available throughout the hotel and within the room was as an added extra convenience, as well as the on-property restaurant, outdoor BBQ grills, laundry facilities and business center.

Interaction with Guests
Since this is a private unit, guests will have no interaction with the owners. However, since the owners are extremely passionate about Hawaii and servicing their guests, they will be available for any and all travel needs and services should the guests request them. Guests are welcome to call the owner at any time with any issues or concerns they may have during their stay. Since the owners are part of a full service travel agency, they can assist guests with anything related to Hawaii, including activities, restaurant reservations and other hotel accommodations on other islands.
Interaction between owner and guest can be as nonexistent or as frequent as the guest would like. The owners are local to Oahu and extremely knowledgeable when it comes to what to see and do in Waikiki. They are very accessible and easy to communicate with, and are eager to make their guests’ vacation on Oahu as fun and pleasant as possible.
Luana Waikiki is located in Waikiki on Oahu, right next to Fort DeRuessy Park. With ample parking nearby and the convenience of being within walking distance to everything, it really is a prime location for a vacation in Waikiki. One block from the beach and nestled in the heart of the city, Luana Waikiki is also next to the Hilton Hawaiian Village.
What the owners love most about the neighborhood is that it’s in the quieter section of Waikiki yet still in the heart of it all. Conveniently located for those traveling to Oahu for business, this hotel allows guests to get in and out of Waikiki very easily. Luana Waikiki is near boutique shopping, grocery stores, restaurants, cafes, activity booths, beaches, museums and more on Kalakaua Avenue, the main thoroughfare of Waikiki.
Waikiki is premiere when it comes to public transportation. With a variety of ride options, guests can have their pick of how they’d like to get around and explore the city. Travel by foot, bus, trolley, taxi or shuttle service, all easily accessible and convenient.
Other Things to Note
Please keep in mind there is no front desk service at this property. Luana Waikiki is owner managed, which means guests are in direct contact with the owner for any questions, issues, requests, etc. pertaining to the room. However, guests will pick up their room key from the front desk and can make reservations for the day spa directly.
Valet parking is optional for guests and is $35 per day. If they do not wish to valet park, there is metered parking and garages nearby. Guests can ask about other parking options as well through the owner.

Daily maid service is not provided, however if guests would like to request this they may do so through the owner.
Our condo at Luana Waikiki is our personal home/property, and we would appreciate you being as neat and clean as possible during your stay. Be respectful of other guests and neighbors and behave properly by abiding by all Luana Waikiki property rules.
We ask that if you're staying more that 2 days that you wash any towels used and remove all garbage from the condo prior to checkout.
I'm from Miami Beach Florida, but have lived in Hawaii for the last 25 years where I received a bachelor's degree in Psychology from Hawaii Pacific University. I came to Hawaii in 1991 as a journalist for KGU radio.
In 1995 I left radio (I was actually fired) to start MCS Internet solutions which provided programming and connectivity solutions to businesses. That company spun off a local ISP called Pacific Internet Connections. In 1997 after acquiring the domain I merged all three companies and founded INC which went on to design, develop and market numerous websites in Hawaii.
In 2000 I partnered with Yaling Yu (my wife) and entered into an agreement to turn focus completely on to the inbound Hawaii Tourism market by transitioning the site into a Online Travel & Tour Company for Hawaii only. In the last twelve years, under my direction, the company has grown from a small two person agency to a multimillion dollar company with 15 full time Agents.
