About this listing
'Rawla' as the word suggests is the tradional ladies quarter of an aristocratic Rajput home.Built in the early 1950's,it is the residence of the Rawatsar Thikana which was the estate of the erstwhile Bikaner state and traces its history to the 16th century,The chief of Rawatsar being one of the four premier nobles of the State.
The residence built by Padmashree Rani Lakshmi Kumari Chundawat is one of the most honoured personalities of Rajasthan.Known for her love for Literature and History. She served three times in the state assembly and once in the National Parliament.A person who stood by her virtues and abandoned the Purdah in the fuedal era.A very well read, well versed and a widely travelled person, she is also an author and a gifted story teller.
There is an air of serenity about 'Rawla' because it's a 'home'. And what it offers is a 'homestay' the way they're meant to be. Relaxed, informed,quiet.. At hand to welcome and look after you is Sanyogita Rawat , granddaughter of Rani Laxmi Kumari
Chundawat. Rawla offers a quiet, comfortable and safe stay to the lone lady traveler also.

You can expect to get a first hand information about the city, state or even the country from us.We are happy to help our guest in any which way we can.
We are happy to have guests over and we don't expect any thing unreasonable from them.We would really appreciate if they could keep up with our timings, like coming on time for breakfast and getting back home not late at night.
We are here to do our best for you and give you the best of our home and city.
We travelled to Jaipur for Holi Festival and booked to stay at Rawla Rawatsar which turned out to be an extremely brilliant idea. Our hostess was so helpful with everything from where to go, to providing food on demand! Our room was fabulous and everything was provided that we could possibly need. Arrangements were made to share the festivities with the hotel next door which proved to be great fun. I cannot praise them enough and would totally recommend a stay at this establishment.
My favorite thing about Rawla Rawatsar was the home-cooked dinners. For an additional fee and with a little advance notice, they cooked delicious home-style Indian dinners for our group of 9 people. This was a refreshing break from eating restaurant food.
Our rooms were clean and cute. I liked the hybrid indoor-outdoor layout of the B&B. We'd definitely stay there again.
