I only rent out my appartment above 2 people. Thank you for your understanding.
My appartment is in a quiet street with a green zone in front of me (there is a children's farm and playground if you come with family) . You can park your car in front of my house.
The appartment consists of one master bedroom with one double bed and one single bed. There is also another bedroom with one double bedroom up high. If you come with six people there is a comfortable couch in the living room. ( so for 5 persons real beds and one person has a really comfortable big couch)
There is a new kitchen in it with a dishwasher (yeah!) and a big living room.
I have a laptop that is free to use and an xbox with games that you can also use.
I also have a bamboe garden where you can be to relax (in summer) and do bbq. In winter it's the best (and only) place to smoke a cigarette.
There are a couple of cool restaurants nearby where you can eat or drink next to the water! Take a look at the pictures!
Feel free to ask for more info.

The appartment is close to the NDSM (2 min by foot ):
NDSM-werf looks like the set from a postapocalyptic film – abandoned boats and trams rust by the water’s edge, graffiti scrawls across every surface, smoke stacks belch in the distance, and huge carved wooden tiki heads gaze over it all. The area is actually a city-sponsored art community called Kinetisch Noord that has taken over a derelict shipyard. Participants converted a mondo old warehouse to hold more than 100 studios, theatres and a skateboard hall, and it has quickly become a centre for underground culture and events, such as the Over het IJ Festival. MTV thought the area was so cutting-edge that it, too, revamped one of the old industrial buildings and made it its European headquarters. It’s true that unless an event is going on, there’s not much to do besides wander around and ogle the recycled-junk street-art (which is pretty damn cool). Café Noorderlicht (Neveritaweg 33), in a Tibetan-prayer-flag-draped greenhouse, provides food and drinks in a funky ambience; it's open from 11am to late.
Please also take a look at Pllek. A new cafe /restaurant that openend. It's the only place with a citybeach. The atmosphere is funky and it's an amazing place when the sun shines :)
The appartment is for guests only. Guests have acces to two sleeping rooms, kitchen, spacious living room, toilet, shower and a spacious garden. They have also access to 5 free bikes.
Interaction with Guests
I will be present when guests have booked my place.
It's safe and relaxt. There is a child farm, play garden and football court very close. Parking for car is FREE.
Public transport :
bus 35 to Central station: 20 min
Bike (5 in total) : 15 min (included 10 min on free to take ferry)
Foot: 20 min (included 10 min on free to take ferry)
Other Things to Note
NEVER put the dishwasher and the laundry machine on at the same time!! Thx :)
Don't make too much noise. If I get complaints from neigbours, i will have to ask you to leave. ( this has never happened before so don't be the first one ;)
Peter was really friendly and welcoming and the apartment was exactly as described. Very comfortable with a great layout. We had 3 children with us and Peter had set up a little bed for our youngest son and let our children play on his xbox which was one of the highlights of their stay! the boat to amsterdam was very close and easy. it was nice to be a little bit out of the craziness of the city and the dock area was very cool. thank you Peter.
We were in Amsterdam for a weekend and stayed at Peter's apartment. It was everything we could have hoped for. The apartment is very spacious, the living room full of entertainment possibilities (TV, audio station, board games, books etc.) with a couch and a big table. The two bedroom are big enough for 6 people (3 in one room, 3 in another) and the kitchen is equipped with everything you could ever need. A big advantage for us was the possibility to park our car in front of the building for free. The yard is quite big and welcoming as well. The apartment was only 20 minutes away from the city center (10 min walk + 10 min with the ferry), with restaurants not so far away and a supermarket within 5 minutes of the house. All in all, we loved the place and we would recommend it to anyone.
Really nice place in a quiet area - all oft the trips by ferry to the city were highlights. And with the bikes Amsterdam you can make it to the center and all the sights in no time!
Peter has everything you need - and everything is in good condition. Really nice contact - thanks Peter!
Peter was a great host. Great communication. Great studio. Everything we needed was there. Definitely a place to stay in Amsterdam. Great experience. Thank you once again!
Hello, I'm a Belgian guy who ended up in Amsterdam after studying. I live here now 13 years. I studied Antroplogy, travelled a lot and have my own company now in Social media. Strange combination? ;) I know ..
