The house is very clean and lovely and in a very convenient spot in Rome. I didn't met Roberta but her friend Irina helped me so much. I lost my wallet before I arrived and Irina came to the station to picked me up, stayed with me to help me get money transaction from my friend and drove me around with her boyfriend to find a bank. My journey in Italy was not very lucky but I am so glad that I met Irina and stayed in Roberta's house. Thank you guys soooo much.
We enjoyed our stay. The location was great as it was across the street from a metro line which took us directly to many monuments and it was within walking distance of The Colosseum, The Roman Forum and Palantine HIll. We got a tour guide for the Vatican/Sistine Chapel/St. Peter's Basilica, "Linda", which was a great suggestion of Roberta's as we had only a couple days and the guide was very thorough, and she also suggested other works of art to
see by Carravagio in a church that we walked to from the Vatican, along the lovely river. We found a great gelatto place by Roberta's that serves not only gluten free gelato, but gluten free cones, which was an extra treat for me (Liz). We also went to an italian restaurant that was gluten friendly. There was also a laundry around the corner that we were able to leave our laundry and it was done when we returned by the end of our sightseeing day. The room was comfortable for the three of us and had a nice balcony to enjoy the piazza. We sat in the park and enjoyed watching the locals. Roberta was great in providing us with suggestions and we would certainly recommend and we would stay again.
Roberta's bnb was perfect. I couldn't have hoped for a better and more enjoyable experience in Rome. From the moment I arrived Roberta made me feel welcome and gave me a very helpful rundown of where to go and what to try and see on my short trip.
The room was much bigger than I expected and had lots of light. The whole apt was tidy and well looked after. It was a great spot to come back and chill out in after a long day of sightseeing. If ever I'm back in Rome I'd like to stay here again.
I stayed with Roberta on a quick one night stay in Rome - an 18 hour flight layover during which I just couldn't resist exploring a bit! Perfect accommodation for my quick stay in Rome - only wish I could have stayed longer!
Roberta was a great host! She kindly welcomed me to her home. The location was perfect - a hop, skip and a jump from a main Metro stop.
Only downside was the street noise outside, but that is to be expected in any city centre.
Roberta gave me a map and advice for my brief stay in the city (even offered me an umbrella!). Breakfast included was an added bonus before I had to head back to the airport. I highly recommend this host!
Staying at Roberta's B&B was the best decision!! The place is just as described and it's perfectly located just steps away from the metro, which takes you to many places in central Rome. If you like to walk, you can easily reach the Coloseum in 15 minutes. But that's not the most important thing about the place. What makes it special is Roberta, who is such a beautiful person, always doing her best to make you feel as if you were at your home, and she succeeds! I strongly recommend that you stay at Roberta's and I'm sure you'll have the same amazing experience we had.
I'd like top stress the fact that the room is huge, you have plenty of space for your luggage and to relax after a long day. And all the place is incredibly clean, spotless! Breakfast is more than enough, the best way to start a long day visiting Rome!
We had a great time in Rome. Roberta was very welcoming and we had nice chats during breakfast with her. Everything was very clean and the flat was really pretty. The location was perfect, because there is a tube station opposite the accomodation. I would definetely recommend Robertas B'n'B and I would love to stay there again.
