Very clean and beautiful place. Loved it. Gloria and her helper Clarisa did everything they could to make my stay very enjoyable. The place is quiet, secure and well located. Great view. I will stay there again.
The apartment was neat and clean and had a nice view of mountains and the pool. It lacked filtered drinking water due to the filter never being attached inside the refrigerator(the filter was still in plastic wrap on the door). The pool area is great for kids, but lacks any type of chairs for sunbathing and got loud and crowded in the afternoons when I was there. The balconies provided a nice cross breeze, but had no future on them.
Accessing the keys turned out to be tricky and expensive. Due to my late check-in and -out times, I paid an additional $20 for the transportation fees of the property manager, but never met her. The keys were given to me by the upstairs neighbor who was not in the apartment when I arrived and cost me another $6 in mobile phone calls to reach her.
I can't believe you left me such a negative review just because i charge you $20 extra for check-in/out on off peak hours(1am). In regards to the filter attached to the refrigerator for drinking water was never available, everyone is responsible to buy there own water. We are very concern with safety, that's why we provide each guest with the fire escape door key and they are working perfectly fine.
Gloria's condo complex is truly paradise. Nestled on a steep hilltop referred to as Cerro Alto, it is a gated community with all the luxuries one could want - swimming pool, fitness center, children's play area, etc. The first thing you'll notice about Gloria's condo are the stunning tiles that outfit her place. The condo is very tastefully and elegantly decorated and she made sure there were fresh towels, water, toilet paper for my guest and I. She reached out to me on Whatsapp when she knew I would have been settled in and had a local by the name of Clarissa meet us to give us a tour and provide us with the key. Words cannot describe how truly impressed I was by the entire experience. It was first rate and really made me feel as if I was in my own home. Kudos to Gloria for knowing how to be a spectacular host!
This is my second time staying at Gloria place and needless to say that everything went well and the host is very reliable and responsive.
Nothing short of perfect! Gloria's property was extremely well taken care of, in a perfect location, with all the amenities to make the experience a memorable one.
Gloria called prior to, during and after the stay to ensure 100% satisfaction. IMPRESSIVE!
I stayed 11 nights at the apartment and overall was a great experience. The host and the supporting manager Clarissa were super helpful in assisting in whatever you needed.
The listing was as advertised, the apartment looked great inside with the furniture and color scheme. Two balconies were available to relax in, one facing the pool that had the best view. Additional chairs in these areas would have been great in case you had company. The modem for the internet was easy to connect to and worked fine as well as the a/c in the master bedroom was cold. There is a water heater that you need to plug in to make it work for the two bathrooms (one has a mirror, the other doesn't). To throw out the trash theres a small metal door outside the gate entrance . No tv.
During my stay, the power was off around 10am-12pm daily, which for me wasn't a huge pain since most people are not home but something to keep in mind.
The complex has two entrances, the rear one that closes at 8pm daily, to find the main entrance is a bit tricky for those who are not familiar with the area however I found it using google maps on my phone. It is tucked in and personally for me you are better off having a car preferably a 4x4 to get around those pesky potholes and the incline to get to the main entrance. On the bright side there is constant work being done at the complex which is a good thing since it appears theres a lot of maintenance being done and improvements.
There are two local supermarkets nearby and a Tequila Bar near the entrance off the main street that gets lively on the weekends. As far as nearby options to go eat there are few I found, had to go by car and up the main road there is a huge store (La Sirena) where you can find anything you need.
To enter the recreational area (pool, gym) you need a pass which I did not have at first, seems like the management there announced this rule after my stay began. Looks like other residents were bringing large groups and others complained about it but this was nothing against the host since the issue was immediately addressed and I entered with no issue. Also you can only bring (2) non guests with you to this area. Sundays seems to be the popular day as the rest of the time, it was relatively empty.
Overall I felt safe inside the area as its very quiet during the week and peaceful, the workers in the morning can be noisy but its expected with the amount of work being done. Fridays/Saturdays can be a bit more livelier but nothing out of the ordinary.
I would definitely recommend staying here again, more then two people may get cramped, but easily can be relaxing for a couple and get a car!
Very nice view of the pool. Host was very helpful and courteous.
Would come back again.
