Top Floor, Lots of Charm and Light

Apartment - Entire home/apt · 16th Ave, San Francisco, CA 94122, United States

The Space

The apartment is spacious with natural lighting from the east and west. One master bedroom and one living area with a (deluxe) inflatable mattress. This space can be easily converted into a second bedroom area as needed.

Being situated at 16th Avenue just off of Irving St. could not be more ideal. Our top-floor apartment is on the quiet, entirely residential 16th Avenue. To the north we have Irving Street, which is lined with adorable boutiques and some of the best restaurants in the city, including Arizmendi Bakery, Lavash, Underdog, San Tung Chinese, Marni Thai, and much, much more.

We are one block from Golden Gate Park and less than a half-mile to some of its finest attractions, including the Conservatory of Flowers, de Young Museum and Academy of Sciences! We are also just a two mile jog from Ocean Beach/Lands End and a one mile walk to adorable Cole Valley.

To top it off, the N Judah Muni Line stop is only one block to our south - so you won't even need to rent a car! In case you do though, a Zipcar location is only a few blocks up, at 7th and Irving.

  • Eric and Tia's place is wonderful. The location is quiet and convenient, the apartment is comfortable and beautifully decorated. As hosts, Eric and Tia were responsive and thoughtful. You have great noodles, Japanese and coffee within a block or two and you can toss a rock to one of the nicest parks in the world. Stay here, it's well worth it.

  • Had a comfortable and wonderful stay at Eric and Tia's place. The apartment was clean and spacious. It is located in a convenient location (plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance) and on a quiet street. Couldn't be happier with our stay and would definitely use their place again. Communication was clear and easy. Thank you so much Eric and Tia for opening up your home to us!!!!! Cheers!

  • As advertised Eric & Tia's appartment has lots of charm.
It is very comfortable, luminous, quiet and well equiped.
The location is great too : just a few blocks from the Golden Gate Park (perfect for jogging...), near Haight Ashbury and Ocean Beach, 20 minutes from the heart of San Francisco with MUNI N line.
And Eric & Tia have been very nice and easy hosts.
So we have had a very nice stay at Eric&Tia's appartment and would definitely recommend it.

  • This place is awesome. It is spacious and comfortable with a charming decor. Super comfortable bed. I love the neighbourhood, which is close to Golden Gate Park and small eateries. We rented a car so it was easy to boot around the city from here, and street parking was easy and free. Tia was great to deal with, polite and attentive. Would definitely book it again.

  • Eric & Tia were great hosts. Very easy to communicate with.
We were a little anxious, first time using Airbnb, but would do it again, as it was a very good experience.
Apartment living was much more comfortable and relaxed than staying in a hotel room.
Neighborhood was safe and quiet, although a little remote (pretty far from downtown). Hard to get a taxi, but the muni stop is 3-4 blks away.

  • The apartment was not exactly what it was presented to be. There were homeless people on the street, I had to pass in order to get to a store or the bus stop. A few days after I arrived, a painting crew showed up and put up scaffolding outside the windows. None of the windows locked and I had to work with them to get them to lock (there was one which I was never able to lock which put me and my belongings at risk since anyone could have climbed the scaffolding and entered that window. The next day the crew showed up early in the morning and began pressure washing the windows. The building is quite old and the windows did not seal which left water spraying inside the windows, all over the blinds, on furniture and down the walls (all of which I had to clean). The following monday the crew returned scraping the windows and walls and not caring that people may be sleeping. The house had nothing in the way of supplies, which I had to purchase and two towels, no washclothes. It was not what I expected from the description posted on Airbnb.
