Karen was kind and greeted me when I arrived, showed me around, and gave me a very thoughtful list of local restaurants, cafes, grocery stores, and businesses that she recommended. The bed was very comfortable with plenty of warm blankets and there was a space heater for my use in the room so even though the house is kept cold I was never bothered by it. The neighborhood was safe and quite, as was the house, and I was comfortable studying during my month stay for school purposes. I would recommend Karen to other rents, particularly for week or longer stays
I had a pretty good time staying at Karen's. The listing was very accurate; it is close to everything. It's literally less than a 2 min walk from the nearest bus stop and it took me less than 10-20 minutes to get to museums, the Cleveland Clinic and places to eat/shop. The bed was very comfortable and the house in general was very clean and well-equipped . My only complaint about the room was that although it was very comfortable, it wasn't very suitable to study/work in as the ceiling light was rather weak. However, Karen tried to help me out with that and gave me an extra lamp in addition to letting me basically invade the dining and living rooms with my books and laptop. Karen was friendly and helpful whenever I needed anything and was kind enough to wait for me a couple of extra hours at the airport because of a flight delay to pick me up. Pretty satisfying stay, over all.
Karen is a very personable and welcoming host. She went out of her way to find information about attractions in Cleveland - in addition to knowing where to eat and what to see in her immediate area. Karen was excellent with communicating as we got closer to arrival. The neighborhood is older, but well kept, relaxed, and was a safe area for walking - a tough combination!
Karen has a beautiful, well kept and inviting home. This was our first experience using Airbnb and it couldn't have gone better. Great hospitality, great privacy, and the neighborhood was so nice we rented an apartment in it. Thanks, Karen!
Karen's home is a lovely place to stay. The location is an easy walk to the business district on Lee St. The room was clean and the bed was comfortable. Karen is a warm and gracious host.
