We welcome you with a variety of options in accommodations and activities.
This listing is a simpler option for single travelers or possibly a couple that do not minding sharing our 2 bedroom suite - listed here https://www.airbnb.com/rooms/106699 - with another guest. The rooms are separated by a large full bath and have shutter doors. PLEASE NOTE, each room can accomodate 2 people, but the price listed here is only for 1 single person in a queen size bed.
The guest suite is a spacious and separate apartment in our four-thousand square foot home, with its own entrance onto the shared lanai. It has two comfortable bedrooms, a well-equipped efficiency kitchen, and full bath with jacuzzi tub, and small TV and video library.
The property is 6 well tended acres of Hawaiian countryside. While our address is in Kilauea, we are more specifically in the agricultural lands of Moloa’a. The home sits along a 600 acre cattle range with no neighbors within sight or earshot. Weather permitting, you will be treated to beautiful sunrises over the the ocean horizon to the east and north; a gorgeous nearby mountain range to the south and west... all frequently colored with brilliant rainbows and visiting birds. The views are spectacular, like everything else on our charming island, and our home is ideally positioned to travel around or just start great hikes right off the property.

We love to meet new people and can share stories and smiles for days. Equally, we understand if you're tired or just want to your own space to get-away with privacy.
we recommend a car for active vacationers, but hitch hiking is extremely common and fast around here. There is a bus that runs the main highway as well, but it's about 2 miles from our road.
Gene is an incredibly gracious and generous host. He made our stay in Kauai easy and fun, and made us feel very welcome.
His place is very centrally located, has all modern conveniences, and is comfortable, spacious, and well appointed.
I highly recommend Kapuna Hollow BnB. Gene's place is fantastic and he is a fantastic host.
Lovely and quiet space in a convinient location for seeing all of Kauai. And Gene made us feel right at home!
We were two couples traveling together and the space was just the right size for us.
I just spent nine nights at Gene's place. It is a great spot, comfortable, quiet and has everything you need. The wide windows on the front look out to a big open landscape and the sunrises there were a beautiful welcome to the mornings. The location is good, fairly central to places on the North and South shores. I would go back again and Gene was a thoughtful and considerate host.

We are a small family and community of many different interests and passions. Yet we always share them among each other, in order to work together building a home for one another.
I am mobile application developer farming our dad's land for sustainability here on Kauai. I travel enough to escape the island fever and love to retreat back here for more surf and sun.
