Interaction with Guests
We interact as little as desired. Usually we will join for breakfast for a short time and then allow our guests to have their own time. If guest do not want our presence, we gracefully move on to other activities. We've enjoyed getting to know about our guests adventures, travels, and feedback about our little town.
Additional guests must register with host before arrival just so we know who's going to be with us:) Check in / out are flexible so please just let us know your schedule and needs. We try very hard to accommodate.
Raleen and Mark went above and beyond to ensure our visit to Mystic was fulfilling. We arrived and met our hosts as guests in their home and departed as friends. A priceless couple in too many ways to post here on review. Will return soon! A and K
I enjoyed my brief stay with Raeleen and Mark. They were kind enough to accommodate my eccentric schedule for the night. I got in so late that Raeleen was gone by the time I woke up in the morning, so we never met face to face. However, Mark offered me some excellent yogurt, fruit, tea and conversation. The house and guest room are comfortable and I would definitely stay with them again if I find myself in the area. Thanks again!
Most wonderful experience!
We could not imagine a better place to stay than with the St. Pierre Family! This is how friendships are created!
We felt at home from the moment we were greeted.
Very well organized and cozy home, beautiful ambiance and beautiful people, willing to share their lovely house.
We love Mystic, CT, and found our favorite places to eat within walking distance. The house is located in a very calm beautiful (and safe) neighborhood.
We will be happy to come back to this home away from home!
We can only recommend the St. Pierre family with all our hearts!
Raeleen and Mark are the nicest people ever. They had everything ready for us--a very comfortable bed, towels, a spare key, even a TV with a pile of DVDs (nightlife isn't exactly thriving in Mystic, so we ended up taking full advantage of this).
In the morning, we woke up to a table beautifully set with just about anything you could want for breakfast, most of it organic. The four of us sat and chatted for a good while.
All very comfortable, friendly, and clean. If I'm in Mystic again, I'm going to stay with them.
Mark and Raeleen were wonderful hosts -- gracious and warm and welcoming. The bedroom is small, but they invited us to share the rest of their home, on a quiet and pleasant residential street.
Everything about this airbnb was excellent. Mark, my host made sure I had all I needed in my room including a DVD player. He also fixed a healthy breakfast with fresh fruit, nuts, yogurt, etc. Mark and Raeleen's house is minutes from the center of Mystic village and from the Seaport and Aquarium. I enjoyed talking to Mark about his dancing competitions (Raeleen is also a dance instructor), his martial arts competitions and about cosmology. I felt very comfortable in their beautifully decorated home.
We were made very welcome in Raeleen's home, even with a last minute booking for a one night stay. The bedroom is small but clean and tidy and the shared bathroom didn't prove a problem. We were able to use the kitchen to cook and given great tips as to what to see and where to eat in Mystic village.
