About this listing
A humble home with warmth, charm and good company. We open our place to you and hope you'll return should you want to see our charming community in Mystic again and again. We have minor renovations to do but our home is clean, cozy, and comfortable.
We do, once again have a kitty who mostly comes to work with me daily. He is good natured and is not allowed outside. We keep him with us in our room at night and do not allow him into the guest room to keep that room as fur-less as possible.
The village of Mystic is a quaint location in Southeastern Connecticut and our small home is less than a mile from town-proper. The train station is just over a half mile from our home and there are MANY things to see and do that are both free as well as costly, depending on your interests. Just check on the internet for Mystic, Ct.and you'll see!
Mystic Seaport Maritime Museum
Olde Mistick Village
Old fashioned village with Antique Bastille Drawbridge
and much more

Interaction with guests
We interact as little as desired. Usually we will join for breakfast for a short time and then allow our guests to have their own time. If guest do not want our presence, we gracefully move on to other activities. We've enjoyed getting to know about our guests adventures, travels, and feedback about our little town.
Additional guests must register with host before arrival just so we know who's going to be with us:) Check in / out are flexible so please just let us know your schedule and needs. We try very hard to accommodate.

I am from Mystic, Ct. I worked in international business development for the past 10 years. I left my job for a little freedom. Before that I worked in the psych field (clinical, social service for a while, child development); I am married. I am also a professional ballroom dance Instructor and recently took the roll of general manager for a Fred Astaire Dance Studio. I am a "happy camper".
My style of travel and hosting is low key, easy, no stress. My interests include fitness, nutrition, reading, ballet and ballroom dancing.
