THE WONDERS OF SAN FRANCISCO: San Francisco checks so many boxes on the urban amenities spreadsheet that it boasts the highest overall quality of life of any major American city. There’s great natural beauty, a moderate climate, plenty of Silicon Valley– fueled jobs, a rich cultural scene, the best burritos in the world, more artisanal rye whiskey than any one person can handle, and a relatively robust transportation system. When the cost savings from shorter commutes and fewer car miles are factored in to the overall cost of living, San Francisco is found to be the second-most cost-efficient major city in the nation, behind D.C.
BE AWARE: For those of you not familiar with San Francisco, please be aware that our beautiful city suffers from problems like anywhere else in the world. Here are a few tips to help you have a better experience in San Francisco.
-Homeless: San Francisco being a very liberal city, you will see homeless people in every part of San Francisco, even in the most prestigious areas such as Nob Hill or the financial district. They are usually nice, just less fortunate then we are.
-Car broken windows: You have no reason to experience any problem IF you do not let any apparent object in your car. No matter where you park your car in the city, even the most prestigious areas, do NOT let any apparent object inside (CDs, cell phone, GPS, etc…).
-Parking tickets: Like most major cities, the city of San Francisco distributes parking tickets for any slight mistakes. Do read the parking signs and put money in the meter (even on Sunday in some areas).
Do not let those unfortunate situations ruin your visit in lovely San Francisco :) It is one of the greatest cities in the world.

The house is so beautiful. Traffic is very convenient. Nice choice for a holiday comparing to other hotel. Good!!
It's a good place for vacation with my son and me. Like a really home of us. And Armelle is a very nice and patiently landlord. We have a very happily trip in San Francisco, need to thank Armelle and her house.
Staying at Armelle's place has been a fantastic experience. The house is exactly as you see it on photos: clean, bright, and convenient. Also, Armelle has been very flexible and patient with my changing plans and communication delays during the trip.
If you're looking for a place — look no more.
P.S. There's an amazing sushi place just 3 blocks away, make sure to check it out.
We had a great time staying at Armelles place. Very spacious and everything you need is there. We loved Mission, Valencia and 24th street which is in walking distance.
l appartement d'Armelle est très agréable et très fonctionnel. il est très bien situé pour se déplacer dans la ville de San Francisco et de plus il est décoré avec beaucoup de goût. ce fût un voyage parfait pour mon ami et moi.
Armelle's place was a dream. On a long business trips and very tired of hotels, plus terribly homesick. Staying at Armelle's place worked out perfectly. Not too far from the busier downtown district, plenty of quaint cafes & restaurant to eat - conveniences are all there nearby. Armelle is a great host she makes an effort to make your stay as effortless and stress free as possible. If I am ever in San Francisco again, i definitely would love to stay at her home again.
We had a wonderful experience at Armelle's apartment, and she is a friendly and responsive host. The location is excellent - walking distance from top-notch restaurants, coffee shops, and bars. We were easily able to access public transportation, and had no problem calling cabs to pick us up when necessary. The apartment was well furnished and had all of the amenities we needed for our trip. We would definitely stay at Armelle's again.
