Rome, Trastevere, near Piazza San Cosimato, and it is ideal for those who want to enjoy the coolest nightlife of the capital and the valuable historical / cultural center.
Trastevere is one of the most lively and characteristic neighbourhoods of the city.
It offers typical Roman restaurants and pizzerias as well as cinemas, markets, banks, pharmacies, supermarkets, shops of every kind and elegant little shops.
On foot it is not far from other popular districts of Rome such as St. Peter, Vatican Museum, Campo dei Fiori, the Ghetto and the Tiber Island, and thanks to the tramway 8 and other buses is very well connected to Largo Argentina, Piazza Venezia / Imperial Forum, Trevi Fountain, Colosseum, Monti, San Giovanni and Testaccio. Even the connection from the airport is easy thanks to a special train that connects Fiumicino Airport to the "Trastevere station."

The apartment was great. Very clean, well furnished, and with everything you could possibly need. Good location for a nice walk into town, around 20 mins to the Vatican, Trevi Fountain and Colosseum. We didn't actually meet Francesco, but his business partner Abdul came to meet us and showed us around the apartment. Francesco was very helpful and always contactable though, and even let us stay in the apartment for the whole of our last day instead of checking out at 13:00, as he didn't have a new guest that day.
This is the best place to stay in Rome and spend a pleasant holiday. We stayed a weekend and it was a fantastic experience. Well located, close to restaurants, bars, supermarkets and 20 minutes from the centre and from the main monuments of Rome. This apartment is equipped with all comforts, clean, modern and quiet at night. Francesco or Abdul will welcome you in the best way and with the greatest Italian hospitality.Francesco is always available for any need. I will come back soon and stay in this place.
This very funky apartment was perfect for our long weekend. Its location in the Trastevere neighborhood was ideal for restaurants and bars in the evening, and it was just a short walk over the bridge into the city centre or along the river to the Vatican. Francesco's messages in advance were helpful, check-in worked out as planned and it was very handy that Francesco said we could check-out late on our last day. I would recommend this apartment.
Francesco's appartement is perfect for a stay in Rome! Great modern furniture and everything you need.
We stayed for a short week, using the appartment as an office, and as our Roman base. Good place in lovely Trastevere, and well situated near everything you might want to visit in Rome by foot. In the mornings I went jogging next to the Tiber, fantastic experience. Abdull was a great and nice host, waiting for us outside the building, and showing us the great & big apartment. Francesco was very communicative, asked if everything was okay a few times, and our answer was all the time: yes, perfect. Would definitely come back the next time, and highly recommend the place to everyone visiting Rome.
To Abdull & Francesco: thanks a lot guys!
The best location you could wish for. The apartment was clean, warm, comfortable and contained everything we needed to make the most out of our stay in Roma. Francesco and his business partner Abdul made our check-in and check-out friendly and easy. Thanks!
We stayed 7 days in Francesco's house. For the negatives: Check in was the most weird check in one cen ever have. There was a Moroccon guy started to follow us 2 streets before arriving the house, first we were afraid but after that we understood that he is in charge of check in. House was not very clean as it is showed in the photos. Just after we told Francesco that house was not very clean Moroccon guy called my mobile phone and he was angry that we told Francesco house was dirty. For the positive things: house is very calm , nice decorated, internet connection is good, has a great location, shower and hot water is ok. Television and dvd player works good. The machine full of gums in the photos was totally empty. in general house is nice.
We stayed a weekend at Francesco's flat in Trastavere and it was a fantastic experience. The flat is modern, very confortable, clean, and walking distance to all the interesting areas in Rome. At night, Trastevere is full of great restaurants, bars, and nightlife.
Francesco is a great host. Very accesible and always available when we needed him.
Great experience all around, and for sure will be staying here next time in Rome
Francesco's apartment is one of the coolest areas in Rome. It's only a short taxi from the train station after arriving by bus from the airport. The ambience and styling of the flat is just as the pictures show, but definitely better in person.
I would highly recommend Francesco's apartment for any trip to Rome, convenient and cool. The local cafes and bars are great, with it only being a short walk to all the major tourist attractions too.
Thank you for making our stay in Rome an unforgettable one.

Trastevere is the must amazing neighborhood in Rome. Full of Italian cafeterias, restaurants, piazzas, artists, boutiques etc etc etc. Francesco apartment location was just perfect. You do not need a car of you stay there. We always walked to everywhere and never need to take any public transportation. It is in the middle of everything. The apartment was clean same way it looks in the pictures. The bed was very comfortable and we had enough hot water to take a long shower for 2 persons. The apartment is spacious and has everything you need. Only take in consideration that the apartment is in the 4th floor and the building has a minuscule lift with a capacity of 2 person at the time with no baggages. It is useful to lift your baggages but in a day to say basis you better use the stairs. We did not mind because we like to walk and use the stair because we train a lot but for elder people it will not be recommended. I will definitely stay in his apartment again
Francesco's apartment was adorable and he was a wonderful host who met us on time and graciously answered all our questions. We liked it had a washing machine and lines with clothespins to hang our laundry. This apartment is in a great location with several restaurants nearby and a grocery right downstairs, plus there is an elevator. The only negatives is that the shower head didn't work and you had to use the hand held device (not a big issue), the power went off (only in our apartment) and we had to play with the fuse box a few times to get it back on, and the bed was a little hard. But those negatives didn't deter our experience and we would stay there again.
