We were there for 3 days & 2 nights, the location is perfect and the apartment looks exactly like it is in the pictures.
We were also provided with the pocket wifi however it's limited to 1GB a day but it managed to help us to find our way in the city.
The host is very friendly & helpful. He replies almost instantly so don't have to worry if you encounter any problem!
Keep up the good work (:
Gabriele and Francesco were fantastic hosts, very quick to respond and always really helpful. The flat is great, really well equipped and spacious. The location is great as well, a short walk from Termini and Colosseum, and less than a minute to the Metro. We really enjoyed our stay.
Stayed in apartments in Europe through Airbnb, and this was by far the best experience. We were able to book very quickly and the pictures don't do the loft justice. This apartment is beautiful. Extremely close proximity to the Colosseum and easily walkable. We even stayed in a night and drank wine on the porch and people watched because we enjoyed the apartment. Lots of shops bars and restaurants close by, not to mention how close the Metro is. Since we only had two days in Rome, we hired a tour guide for one of the days and we were able to see all the sights and learn the history on everything. I would recommend this apartment to anyone. If you are short on time in Rome, booking a tour guide for the day is your best bet to see everything!
Location, Location, Location! The apartment was very well situated. It was less than a block from the Cavour Metro Stop with many restaurants and cafe's lining Via Cavour and its side streets as well as a supermarket a block from the apartment . You could see the Forum from the entrance to the apartment. For the most part, the apartment was clean and well supplied. There is a washer and dryer as well which helps if you have to do laundry. Gabriele was available by phone or text to answer questions and gave us some recommendations. He also helped arrange our airport transfers to/from the airport. It made arrival and departure go smoothly. The only reason I am giving it 4 stars is because there is some mold on the wall above the window. It did not affect us as we did not have respiratory issues, but I can imagine that someone with allergies or respiratory issues may have a problem with it. Don't think it is so much our hosts problem as much as the climate in Rome. Even though it was winter, temperatures while we were there were in the upper 60's Fahrenheit. There is a dehumidifier in one of the room. Perhaps another one in the other room would help with climate control. Otherwise, the apartment and the host is excellent.
Francesco met us at the apartment to give us the keys. He was very helpful in explaining everything you need to know about the place! The wifi works great, the metro is about a 30 second walk out the front door. Francesco even pointed out where the grocery store (2 minute walk) was so we could buy food and cook it up at the apartment! The pictures don't really do this place justice! The place really is beautiful and it's an easy walk to the Colosseum. We ended up just getting a hop on hop off bus to get around to see all the sights. It was just easier than taking the metro in my opinion. The metro would be cheaper if you can navigate it (Which is pretty easy!) We plan on coming back to this place because the price can't be beat for the location. Gabriele actually set up a taxi to meet us at the airport which was about 40 euro. You could take the bus but the lines to get on the buses aren't worth it in my opinion. All in all this place is perfect. Highly recommended. No issues afterward either! Thanks Gabriele & Francesco!
