The Neighborhood
Historic Wiscasset, Maine, is known as the "Prettiest Village in Maine." Sea Salt Boutique Cottages is nestled in the heart of the historic district, within walking distance of the iconic Red’s Eats, several five-star restaurants, and a variety of boutiques, art galleries, and antique shops. Wiscasset sits along the Sheepscott River, the deepest river north of Boston. In the late 1800s, it was revered as a prominent maritime capital. Much of the town remains untouched by modern life, and visitors can enjoy the "Museum in the Streets" walking tour to learn about the rich history this charming town offers. Today, Wiscasset exudes picturesque, quaint New England charm, offering a slower pace of life—a true summer haven.
Wiscasset is a quiet, safe, and neighborly town. We’re located next to the local elementary school, which adds to the welcoming community vibe. In the off-season, the school campus is a great spot for morning strolls or enjoying the playground.
Additional Amenities
• Private parking: Off-street and located right next to the cottage.
• Loaner bikes: Perfect for cruising around the village.
A Friendly Household
We live adjacent to the cottage with our older children and a small, elderly Pomeranian dog. While we respect your privacy, Ammi is often the only one guests meet during their stay.
Thank you for considering us for your visit! We look forward to hosting you soon.
