Debbie was very easy to deal with and she responded to all my questions quickly. The house was well kept, with plenty of space. The deck is great, the garage has plenty of toys and the best part is that the beach is literally a block away.
Debbie was great! Flexible and kind. The house had everything to make it a fun and accessible home away from home!
Communication was timely and clear. Easy and clear directions to the house and how to get in. Listing was as pictured. The only surprise was master bedroom shared a bath (Jack and Jill set-up) with another bedroom. Not a problem for us, just not sure it was made clear. Might be a problem for some. Notes are posted everywhere so you never have a question about where to find things, or the owner's expectations. The kitchen is well-stocked, the wifi worked great, there are lots of recreational toys in the garage, comfy beds, and enough outdoor space for hanging out. I would absolutely stay here again!
We were so pleased to find out that the pictures of this roomy and comfortable beach house don't do it justice! The kitchen is a good size for a couple of cooks at the same time while being right there where friends and family were lounging. Very convenient! The beds are very comfortable and the rooms a good size, especially the master bedroom. Great water pressure in the showers. Everything is very clean and well taken care of by our hosts Debbie and Keith. Plenty of basic essentials in the kitchen with a request to replace something if you use the last of it. We loved the rooftop patio and used it often during our stay, also there is another small deck and a balcony that made it easy to feel we were outside while we were in! Being so close to the beach was a big plus, it's just at the end of the block. Grocery stores were within an easy distance which is good because we cooked everyday, all three meals. The garage space is a little tight for playing ping pong but we gave it a try; plenty of bikes although a few were not in the best shape. Bring your own if you want to go for a long ride. The front lounging space has a mini putting green which my uncle and father-in-law loved, and Debbie (or Keith?) does a great job of maintaining the beautiful morning glory vines, succulents and many beach-friendly plants - really pleasant space to hang out with a beer and a friend! My family and I highly recommend this great beach house when you have no desire to be "in town", just be with each other and the ocean. Well done!
What a great place! The toys and items they have avail to use are amazing, from putting to ping ping, double bikes, chairs....the list goes on and on. Very convenient and fun to say the least.
The host was easily reachable by email and was prompt in confirming the reservation. The house was exactly as advertised, the neighborhood was quiet and in a fabulous location. There was actually more food staples available than what we expected (although you need to replace anything to use up) If you max the place out, though, you're going to need to do some laundry, as there are not enough towels to last more than two days. The beds were very comfortable, and the outdoor decks are great. The bikes are usable, but not in the best shape.
I'm a stay-at-home mom to two teenage boys, married since 1996, property owner/manager. I like to read, vacation with my family and dinner out with my friends. Love going to Hawaii, New York and the East Coast, would love to travel and explore Europe some day. Staying in private residences to get a feel of actually living somewhere else than where I'm from is the way I like to travel.
