The Homeowners are not responsible for the loss of personal belongings or valuables of the guest. By accepting this reservation, it is agreed that all guests are expressly assuming the risk of any harm arising from their use of the premises or others whom they invite to use the premise.
4.Keep the property and all furnishings in good order
5.PETS are permitted only with prior written approval and are subject a $25/night/pet fee and to the following terms:
a.Pets discovered to have been brought without prior approval and payment will be charged for at a rate of fifty dollars ($50.00) per night per pet for any nights the property is occupied by the Guest(s).
The discovery of pets brought any Guest(s) without prior approval is subject to immediate removal of the Guest(s) and pets from the Property and termination of the remainder of their stay without refund.
b.Guest must take due care to immediately pick up after their pets on property grounds or be charged for any cleaning cost and/or loss of revenue from other guests or tenants.
c.Guest(s) hereby declare that the pets are known to be non-aggressive to other animals and people and are neutered or spayed.
d.Guest(s) accept full liability FOR ANY HARM DONE by Guests’ pets to any other animals or people and any property damage.
6.Fees: These fees are designed to encourage you to follow the rules, NOT to give us a reason to charge them.
We do not make or want to make money on these. At best they reimburse us for losses.

a.Failure to turn off lights and/or fans upon checkout$10
b.Failure to turn of the heating, stove, oven, or closing the refrigerator upon checkout $30
c.Failure to spin the combination on a key lock box and/or closing the combination door will require the resetting of the combination and re-informing all the upcoming guests and will carry a $15 fee.
d.Any other costs incurred due to Guests intent or negligence will be reimbursed at actual cost
e.Any time required to be invested by the management as a result to Guests intent, negligence, or error will be charged at fifty dollars ($50) per hour, including travel time.
A nice little bungalow in Golden Hill. Best part about the house is probably the outside seating area. Neighborhood is good, with a couple taco spots and a convenience store about 5 min. away walking. Around the corner is an awesome bar, the Turf Club, and good pizza place (Pizzeria Luigi).
I stayed with two friends, and the space was a bit tight. Probably ideal for a couple, really. Also best to have a car. We were at a conference at the convention center, and it was tough (and expensive) to get back and forth b/t the house and the Gas Lamp. It's a 40 min. walk or a $10 taxi. There is a bus, but coordinating the bus schedule with the conference schedule was difficult.
Yes everything was accurate. Clean towels and bed were good. The place was clean.
We would not recommend this tiny apartment to anyone.
My wife and two kids, 5 and 7, used the bed and I used my sleeping bag on the floor.
This is our second bad experience out of our last three AirBnB rentals.
We rented it for three nights and left after the first night. In other words, we paid for three nights, stayed for one. We were there less than 14 hours. You can get a better deal at many of the hotels in the Gaslamp quarter.
The host refused to refund us any of our rental fees even though we left at 10am the next morning and informed him immediately that we were doing so. I don't know if this action constitutes arrogance exceeded only by hubris or just bad luck on our part, but we won't be using AirBnb anymore.
Great, comfortable and homey unit. Easy walking distance to (all down hill) the Gas Lamp and plenty of stores and restaurants near by. Added benefit was in door parking!
Didn't have any reason to contact Alik as all was in order from start to finish.
The location is wonderful. Loved the quick access to the interstate and the fast food within a block! The yard was a great space, which we enjoyed! The Netflix/TV was a great way to unwind after walking all day. The house itself is small, probably too small for the three of us. My 17 year old son was pretty uncomfortable on the couch; it does not pull out to a bed. The bedroom was nice and the mattress was great. There were a few housekeeping items that Alik was quick to fix, which we appreciated. We did not cook, but the kitchen was well equipped. The bathroom, kitchen and living spaces were clean! The house is a great spot for touring San Diego!
Alik's place is just as described in the post! The check-in process was really easy, and the place was very clean.
We had a great stay In Alik's one bedroom apartment near the Gaslamp District. It was absolutely 100% true to the photos -- very clean, simply furnished -- great TV! The place is particularly well suited for a dog, which we had. There is ample room in the shared courtyard of the small apartment complex -- all of which Alik owns and manages. We loved the location -- super close to the freeways, and to the fabulous gaslamp district as well as others. Met Alik and had the opportunity to chat with him a bit -- very nice guy, good host
