We were warmly welcomed by Donald and Katherine and thoroughly enjoyed their lovely home in its spectacular setting. Surrounded by beautiful gardens and peaceful tranquility made for a very relaxing stay. They helped us plan out each day, with excellent advice and arranging tastings with smaller winemakers. Would definitely recommend staying here and hope to be back someday.

Donald was a wonderful host - he was very welcoming and made a number of great local recommendations that were, indeed, great. The room and house (and grounds!) are beautiful and serene, and we had a lovely time relaxing. We also had a great time chatting with Donald as we crossed paths in the house. Overall, we loved our stay and would definitely come back!

Grape House exceeded our expectations. Donald and Catherine are a lovely couple who sought to make our visit enjoyable as possible. We really had fun chatting with them over breakfast each day; by the end of the trip we felt like Dry Creek "insiders." The property is serene and gorgeous and interesting, with their gardens and fruit trees and probably the biggest wind chime you will ever see. Their two pups are very sweet too. They are quick to provide recommendations when requested. Our stay with them was such a wonderful respite from everyday life... We would most certainly recommend this experience to anyone.

Donald and Catherine were perfect hosts as were their accommodations. Everything was superb-n their beautiful vineyard home- the porch and garden sitting areas, the bedroom suite with its large picture window and lovely breeze and the pool and spa (the use of which we were offered but did not use, though it looked so inviting!). We were surprised and delighted to be served a delicious breakfast of steel cut oatmeal and fresh fruit from their garden enhanced by comfortable conversation about their travels and ours. Our stay was undoubtedly the highlight of a wonderful weekend in beautiful Healdsburg. We recommend this little piece of paradise and we are already planning our next visit, Thank you so much, Donald and Catherine!

I've stayed in 50+ Airbnbs, but this absolutely stands out -- it is by far the most enjoyable experience myself and my partner have had. The photos do not do the house justice. It is a perfect, idyllic paradise surrounded by its active vineyard, with a beautiful pool, creek, and gardens. Even better, the hosts are two of the kindest, most generous people I could imagine. They introduced us to local events, made excellent restaurant and vineyard recommendations, and welcomed us into their amazing space. Stay here! You can't possibly find a better place to stay in all of Sonoma.

Donald and Katherine have a lovely home and are great hosts. The bedroom and bathroom are beautiful- the pictures on the website do not accurately show just how pretty the room is. The bed is made up with expensive linens. The house is away from town and sits on a 12 acre vineyard with beautiful gardens surrounding it. Loved it!

Donald and Catherine have a lovely house in a working vineyard. It is very close to Healdsburg and near-by attractions, while being "away from it all." We enjoyed a relaxing time in the dry creek area wine-tasting. Donald gave us superb recommendations in terms of wineries and restaurants. It is easy to see he takes pride in welcoming visitors to the area.

I am retired and was the founding Medical Director of the UCSF Mt. Zion Multiple Sclerosis Center. Currently, I am a member of the Winegrowers of Dry Creek Valley and owner of Goodkin Vineyards where we grow Cabernet and Merlot. My professional energy is focused on promoting the wines and cuisine of Dry Creek Valley and my personal focus is on my family, swimming, gardening, and supporting preschool education in Healdsburg. I play the acoustic guitar for personal enjoyment much to the chagrin of those in hearing distance.
