It was a beautiful place. The view was amazing!! It is like you see on the pictures! The appartment is realy charming decorated. Everything you need is there. And it is clean!
It is a really quiet village, we loved that. The boulanger came in saturday morning so we had fresh bread! Anna let us feel welcome and gave us suggestions about nice markets!
Conclusion: It was a wonderful stay!
What a beautiful place to stay at. So beautiful, that the last day, me and my friend decided not to go anywhere else to visit and rather enjoy the last few hours with the beauty and calm of the house. Every moment spent there felt like a treat - outdoor, sitting at the terrasse for breakfast looking at the sun rising, or for dinner, looking at the stars - indoors enjoying the beautiful deco.
We met Anna a few times and she is a real pleasure to talk with. She was wanting to help any time.
The area has plenty medieval villages to visit which participates to the enchantment of the area.
All in all beautiful few days. Thank you Anna!
We loved Anna's "Romantic Retreat".
We loved Mont St Jean - a very French village with stunning views and surrounding countryside.
Anna was most welcoming and Anna's photo listing perfectly described the aspect of her home - that view is for real!
Peace and tranquility was achieved.
We spent 3 (email hidden) Jean, but could easily have stayed a week. Anna welcomed us warmly and gave us some great tips on things to do locally. The unit is well appointed with everything we needed and a fantastic view over the beautiful countryside. Very quiet and peaceful.
Such a sweet and beautiful spot in the countryside! We truly enjoyed our time here. Waking up to gorgeous sunrises and stargazing at night is exactly what we needed.
We wish we could of stayed longer! Although it is further out from some of the towns we were able to explore the area over the course of two days. We also enjoyed just strolling around Mont-Saint-Jean, it was so very beautiful.
We were able to easily drive to Dijon (Owl Trail, shops and eateries), Châteauneuf (château and sweet little town), Semur-en-Auxois, Flavigny-sur-Ozerain (les Anise de Flavigny factory and shop, sweet little town to explore), Montbard (Abbaye de Fontenay)and Beaune (highly recommend Château de Pommard for a vineyard and cellar tour and tasting).
The Boulanger came around on Saturday morning so we were able to buy some fresh bread and cheese, absolutely delicious!
It was very clean and well taken care of. It was very hot while we were there and we did have to leave the doors to the home open for some fresh air through the evening. I think that if I was by myself I would of hesitated doing so, being in an unfamiliar area and such.
It was a beautiful place to stay and explore the countryside during our trip to France. We wouldn't hesitate to stay here again when we come back!
A wonderful house in even more wonderful environment. The nature surrounding the house is absolutely stunning!
The location allows you to travel to the vineyards of Côte the Beaune or Côte the Nuits by car over the day and still have time to cook dinner in the well equipped kitchen when you come home.
We enjoyed eating our breakfasts and dinners at the terrace outside our room.
Anna is a great host and the communication was very quick and accurate.
Go here and enjoy this gem in Mont Saint Jean!!!

Anna was incredibly gracious and accommodating! She allowed us to come in very late and checked in with us multiple times to make certain we found everything alright. The farmhouse is absolutely charming with everything we needed for our stay. Anna has a very helpful book full of sites to see and resources for our personal needs. We particularly enjoyed making a salad from the garden, waking up to the rooster and cows in the distance and lounging out back with the peaceful and beautiful view. It was my favorite time in France thanks to Anna. We highly recommend getting reservations for dinner across the street. Plan to bring your groceries and coffee because there is nothing in the town. Thank you so much for this incredible experience!
