he property is fully furnished, including kitchen appliances, convection oven and fridge. The kitchen is open-plan, leading to dining room with large dining table for 8 persons and large living room. The living room consists of leather sofa, additional bed and cable TV.
Master bedroom includes large double bed and additional bed for 2 persons, bedside tables, chest of drawers and built-in wardrobe.
Second bedroom includes two single beds and additional beds for 2 persons.
Two fully equipped bathrooms with toilets. One with bathtub and toilet, the other one with shower and toilet.
Entrance hall consists of built-in wardrobe and clothes-stand.
The apartment is on the ground floor.
The Hight Tatras mountains are the highest mountains in Slovakia with highest peak Gerlachov(website hidden)ak (2654 meters above see level = 8707 feet). The mountain’s ridge of The Tatras is located in the north of the country and represents the border with Poland. It is divided in three continuous set of mountains – The Western Tatras (also called Roháče), The High Tatras (the higest peaks in the country) and Belianske Tatras (east part of the ridge). The length of whole ridge is 55km (35 miles). Northern part of The Hight Tatras is shared with Poland.
The apartment itself is located in Tatranska Lomnica, small town right in the centre of The High Tatras, with permanent population of only 800. However, during the season the population of tourists easily exceeds 10-fold. It is very good starting point for any activity.

4.Cable car (ski lift) from Tatranska Lonica to Lomnicky Peak (2634 meters above the see level = 8641 feet), the second highest peak of the mountains and the whole Slovakia, with the highest situated observatory. There is another observatory located in Skalnate Pleso (Skalnate Lake – lake of glacial origin). There are abundance of these lakes in the whole National Park.
5.There are two indoor swimming pools nearby – 25 meters long (82 feet) in hotel Odborar with nice bar-restaurant overlooking the pool through the window, and another small 12,5 meters long (41 feet) in hotel Uran.

7.Precious typical alpine-style Hotel Gand on the top of the town is worth to visit, either to linger in enormous caffe – restaurant that takes you back to the time of glamour of 20’s, or you can book a private whirpool session with champain, massage or sauna.
8.Walk through Tatranska Lomnica town is always romantic, no matter what weather’s like.
9.And for more active activities: Tatranska Lomnica is the starting point for walks and mountain hikes. You can chose difficulty according your fitness, from climbing the peaks, hiking towards glacial lakes with mountain cottage style refreshments at the edge of some lakes (Cottage = Chata in Slovakian – Teryho chata , Zbojnicka chata, Bilikova chata, Chata pri Zelenom plese etc.) There are mountain pathways spread across the whole Tatra Park, very well signed and connected to each other. Some of them are more climbing-like hikes (peak Krivan, ; some are permitted only with mountain guide that can be booked. Others are nice and long walks…
10.Winter: Tatranska Lomnica is also a ski paradise with a complex of ski slopes with different difficulties. The ski centre is 15 minutes walk distance from the apartment and 5 minutes drive. Plenty of opportunities for both skiing and snowboarding. Opposite the apartment is skating-rink.

The closest airport is Poprad-Tatry airport (25 km). There are direct flights from Luton via wizzair. Another airports around are:

Commuting within the area:
A car is good for setting you free from timetables and you do not need to worry about timing your trips.
However, there are typical tram services that connects all High Tatras centres and also Poprad that is the largest city and county centre(train station is 7 minutes walk from the appartmet). There are train services from Tatranska lomnica to Poprad. Poprad is the main transport hub with connecting trains to whole country and Vienna in Austria. Apart from that, there are plenty of bus services to surrounding towns, villages and centres.
