Our cosy one bedroom flat comfortably sleeps two or four and is located in a beautiful Georgian Square set within the newly renovated Burgess Park. The flat has easy access to all London attractions.
This cute and homely one bedroom flat on the lower ground, semi basement floor has one double bed and one double sofa bed comfortably accommodating up to four people. The enchanting bedroom with antique bed has a chest of drawers and wardrobe for you to hang your clothes with direct access to the garden.
At the front of the house you take the steps down to the lower ground front door which opens straight into the well equipped kitchen with Microwave, Fridge and Oven. You will also find iron and ironing board. The sitting room has a table and chairs where you can eat breakfast, lunch and dinner and a sofa to relax in front of the television. Ollie's 24 hour supermarket is just a few minutes walk away and will provide you with everything you need to eat.
Interaction with Guests
We love to meet new people and are very happy to help you find your way around our wonderful city. We live upstairs in the house so will be on hand if you need anything or need to know how to get anywhere!
The neighborhood is diverse, lively and convenient to local shops and restaurants and is close to all the major attractions of London by bus (2 minutes walk) or tube (20 minutes). We now have Fowlds cafe in our square where you can treat yourself to coffee, soups and pastries. Tennis courts and tennis tables are opposite the house and you are welcome to play there - we can even provide rackets if necessary! Camberwell town centre is 10 minutes walk with a great assortment of pubs, bars and restaurants. Highly recommended restaurants are Angels and Gypsies and the Crooked Well among others.You are ten minutes bus ride away from the new Southwark Playhouse Theatre, twenty minutes to the fabulous Borough market and half an hour to the wonderful West End with its array of theatres, restaurants and shops. The glorious South bank is only fifteen minutes away where you can enjoy the view of the river or see a play at The National Theatre or take in a concert at The Festival Hall. The possibilities are endless!
As well as Kennington and Elephant & Castle tube stations (Zone 1) there are 10 bus routes just outside the square that will take you to just about anywhere in London. You can reach Covent Garden, The Tower of London, Borough market, The Globe Theatre within about 25 minutes. We will supply you with all the information you will need to get around.
Other Things to Note
We will provide fresh linen and towels, hairdryer, and just let us know if you need anything and we will do our best to help. Check in After 2pm and before 11pm. Check out is at 11am unless by prior arrangement.
No smoking and no parties are permitted as we live in the main house with our two children. Well behaved dogs are welcome. Dog sitting on request at £3 per hour. Please leave the flat as you find it.
