The construction from Hurricane Sandy damage is finally nearing completion. All that is left are the shutters and the fine details! I need to redo the landscape as the construction and tree damaged my yard.
Thanks to Hurricane Sandy, my house had a good sized tree fall through it. It's all patched up with a little upgrade but it is still a little "rough" with construction supplies around the house. It should be completed by end of September, I hope.

Interaction with Guests
I'm a product design freelancer with a part time job that pays my health insurance (times are tough!) and part time student. So I'm in and out at times. I'm pretty laid back and quiet. I can show you around if you'd like by bike or car when I'm available. Got a couple of bikes to rent if need be (Sorry, last person to borrow a bike crashed it and had to ruin it for everyone!) But other than that, feel free to use TV (no cable, but I got Netflix on the XBOX 360 and plenty of DVDs), washer-dryer, stove, whatever or even some of the food in the pantry.
...........[......... GETTING HERE......].............
I have run the numbers for many guests. If you are looking to stay local (New Brunswick/Piscataway/Edison) with the occasional run to NYC, this place is for you! I prefer to book mostly grad students / interns / medical residences for the semester as there are many universities and hospitals in the area. Spring 2014 is now available!!!!
The nearest airport to my house is Newark Liberty Airport.
From the airport you can reach my house by:
[ Method / Time / Cost ]
Train / 1.5h / ~$10
Bus / 2.0h / ~$10
Rental Car / 0.5h / ~$60 a day plus gas
JFK and LaGuardia Airport is a bit more tricky as it requires more transfers and you might be better off staying elsewhere.
......[.....LOCATION, LOCATION, LOCATION....]......
So you get into NJ, now what?
I am located near several major cities*:
New York City (1 hour)
Philadelphia (1 hour)
Rutgers/New Brunswick (15 minutes)
Edison (15 minutes)
Bridgewater (15 minutes)
Newark/Union/Elizabeth (30 minutes)
Princeton (45 minutes)
Infamous Jersey Shore (45 minutes)
Six Flags Great Adventure (1 hour)
Atlantic City (2 hours)
Washington DC (4 hours)
Baltimore (3 hours)
Boston (4:45 hours)
*times listed are estimated by car.
Ok, ok, ok, I'm near there but not quite there, but my place is a great jump off point for long term stays. Don't like the big cities, not a problem! My town is quaint and has plenty of family owned restaurants, shops and farmer's market near Middlesex and Dunellen. Forgot something? We also have Walmart, Target and 3 major shopping malls within 20 minutes! Check out my complete guide around town by clicking the Guidebook in the upper right hand corner in my other listing!
NJ is a great place to live but public transit within NJ towns is not robust. If you need to get to one small town to the another, public transit will send you on an adventure as it will route you through the nearest big city (Newark) and back to your destination.
If you need to get to NYC, that is much easier and faster to do. Both the bus and train take you there under an hour.
If need be, I do offer a car to rent as well through another reputable website. I have a two by two paved driveway with plenty of grass next to it to park.
Other Things to Note

Please include a description of yourself and the reason you are visiting the area so I know who is staying under my roof. Also include in your inquiry the number of guests who is coming too. If you do not have any reviews on Airbnb, please fill out your profile and verify your account (with a social media website, Offline ID, Passport, maybe even a reference) under the "Edit Profile" section. If not, I may ignore your request. No one wants to a complete stranger in their house with no reviews or an incomplete member profile. A picture of you too helps so I know who to expect at the door.

I don't know why I have to state this but this listing is just for Bedroom 2 and not the whole house. That means you have to share the bathroom and kitchen. I keep having to answer this question.....

I like long walk on the beach, candle light dinners, and.... oh... wrong website...
I like biking, running, swimming, hiking, camping, basketball, baseball, just about all sports. Preference to be playing and doing it than watching it. Easy going.
If you need to know more, just ask.
