Quiet, custom-built guesthouse 150 feet from the edge of Gathering Place — Tulsa's hundred-acre riverfront park. A 2017 ground-up rebuild in historic Maple Ridge, with 600+ square feet of considered space that's entirely yours.

Close to everything: 2 miles to downtown, 1 mile to Brookside, 1.5 miles to Cherry Street, and most of the metro inside 15 minutes.

The space
I built much of this place myself — the queen bed, the floating nightstands, the trim carpentry. I'm a maker by nature, and the Urbanstead is what happens when someone who cares about craft gets to obsess over every detail of a small, beautiful space.

It's a 2017 reconstruction of the original detached garage — a nod to the carriage houses still common throughout the neighborhood.

Through the door and up the stairs, you're greeted by an open, airy room lit by large skylights.

Want to crash right away? Shut the bedroom doors, kick on the fan, and sink into the Tuft & Needle mattress in the custom-built queen bed.

Need a shower? All-subway-tile, with endless hot water from a tankless heater — go as long as you like.

Want to cook? The kitchen is fully equipped: induction cooktop, toaster oven, fridge, and dishwasher.

We're officially licensed by the City of Tulsa to operate as a short-term rental under permit STR20-00008.

Guest access
Your private entrance has a keypad lock — the space is entirely yours for your whole stay. We use the garage underneath, but you'll barely know: 10 inches of spray foam and the quietest garage doors we could find keep it silent.

Street parking is less than 100 feet from your door.

Maple Ridge is a historic neighborhood in the heart of midtown, inside the Inner Dispersal Loop. Its meandering, tree-lined streets and mix of architectural styles make it a favorite for cyclists, runners, walkers, and anyone who likes being outdoors.

Walk down to Brookside for sushi, tacos, drinks, or groceries at Trader Joe's. Hop on the Midland Valley trail for a 5-minute bike ride (20-minute walk) to Double Shot coffee and the SoBo restaurants. Or catch a ride to Cherry Street for some of the best dining variety in Tulsa.
