The Traveler’s House is a 1050 square-foot, 2-story brick “shotgun row house” built in 1890, with 2 bedrooms, 1 bath and original heart pine floors.
Completely renovated in 2011, this warm, cozy house has been furnished to provide a relaxing and attractive oasis to guests, with all the comforts of home.
The Traveler’s House is tastefully decorated with an eclectic assortment of international artifacts, photographs, paintings, music and books.
The Traveler’s House has beds for 4 and a king size sleep sofa in the living room.
There is plenty of on-street parking and a private backyard with large trees and porch seating.
The Traveler's House is just a short walk (7 minutes) from Frederick's town center. Convenient to shops, theatres, fine restaurants, museums, galleries and parks.
Both bedrooms have Sleep Number/Select Comfort beds (1 Q, 1 T plus 1 Trundle) with designer linens. The twin bed and the trundle could be made up into a king bed; however, the access to the house's only bathroom is through that bedroom, so it works best for children.
The kitchen is fully equipped with modern appliances and granite countertops. There are 2 HDTV's - one in the living room and one in the back (twin) bedroom, which can double as an office for longer stays.
Ideal accommodations for wedding parties, reunions, romantic escapes, family vacations, corporate stays, girlfriends' weekends.

Nancy was wonderful! We stayed for two nights for a bachelorette party. The house was lovely - everything you could want was available (the location was excellent) and Nancy went above and beyond to make us feel at home. We would definitely stay here again!
Great spot in downtown Frederick! Location is in a quite neighborhood and is within easy walking distance to parks and downtown nightlife.
Apartment is comfortable and well appointed with everything you would need.
I arrived late and Nancy was very accommodating with check in/out.
I'm only sorry I found her place at the end of my contract instead of at the beginning! Would absolutely stay again.
