My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed this house and hope that, once we buy some land on-island, we'll build a something like this. From seeing many of the houses in the immediate area, this house & its surrounding property is one of the most beautiful. Justin was quick to answer any questions we had and Carla who lives below, was so helpful when we had questions.
Along with other reviewers, with all the Balinese furniture, this place is not-to-be-missed!
This place is a temple. So incredibly beautiful and rejuvenating. My time here flew by far to quickly. The hosts were incredible, they offered great insiders advice on secluded beaches and very sacred traditional spots.
This is THE place to stay on the big island! From geckos to a beautiful soaker tub and rain shower it has everything, and is located in such a funky area.
I'll be dreaming of the evening frog calls until I can return.
Thank you for paradise.
Justin's vacation home was paradise. It was exquisite, lovely and comfortable.
We felt right at home. Carla welcomed us and then left us to our own devices. Everything was easy and close to perfect.
I would highly recommend and would love to stay again for more time.
Things to know- get food on the way in. Go to all the places recommended by the hosts. They are beautiful.
This is the second time we have stayed at Balinese Elegance Airbnb. As last time, we were charmed by the beautiful calming vibes of the house. The sound of the frogs chirping all night is such a relaxing song to fall asleep to as was the sound of the rain hitting the roof as we happened to hit a wet week during our stay. We made good use of the wonderful tub in the bathroom to relax in after enjoying the amazing snorkeling in the nearby pools in Kapoho. Check out the
nearby Yoga retreat Kalani for dinner or handmade ice cream!
I thank you for a wonderful first time experience with Airbnb. Everything was great, my only wish is to spend more time on the Big Isle.
Our stay at Justin's beautiful paradise in the jungle was fabulous, beyond expectation! This hale is truly sacred with a very special energy there. The home and surrounding gardens are artistically crafted; full of light, color and beauty.
Descriptions of the home, opportunities available in the area are completely accurate. We enjoyed many activities along this pristine coastline, as well as the quite solitude found in our apartment and on the two lanai's.
I loved the remoteness of this place. I will never forget the chorus of frogs at night, the birds song at daybreak, and the machete crack of a coconut each morning!
The caretakers were exceptional, skilled, friendly, and helpful!! I enjoyed shopping for nutritious and luscious food at the Island Natural Foods in Pahoa, and the local farmers markets.
I feel honored to have met Justin while he visited there during our stay! The aloha spirit and feeling of ohana in this magical area of the big island is truly heartwarming. I plan to return to this special area of Hawaii, and to this sacred hale as soon as possible!
Aloha, and Mahalo, Justin, Carla and Dianna! A hui hou aku.
Amazing house in a relaxing environment. Perfect location to visit the east part of the island. I highly recommend this house.
