Clean remodeled casita with queen bed, sitting area with couch and new bathroom. Min. stay 30 days
Unfortunately the City of Napa will now only allow 30 day + rentals. I will be petitioning the city to change their rules to allow for Airbnb (8/14)
The casita is a detached room on the property with my house and shares the backyard and swimming pool. It is a one bedroom, one bath with sitting room and private entrance accommodation.
The casita has electric kettle for tea and coffee in sitting area with full couch and iPod dock. There is also a small refrigerator in the sitting room.
Please see "other things to note" below if you wish to use the swimming pool (the pool is not heated).
Easy street parking.

Very clean and spacious cottage, check in and out was very easy, would stay again
Cara's cottage was so lovely and was even better in person. It was very clean and we felt extremely comfortable. Don't let the lack of air conditioning deter you, the temp in the room was comfortable at night. We came in August and had no problems with the temp in the cottage. It is very convenient to downtown and only a couple of blocks to the entrance to Hwy. 29. ,so if you're coming to tour the vineyards you will be very happy with this location. If we visit again we would love to stay here.
The reservation was canceled 39 days before arrival. This is an automated posting.
Nice little cottage and the salt water swimming pool was perfect for unwinding after a hard day at the wineries! Cara was a great communicator and quick to respond, we only met briefly but she was very nice.
I had the pleasure of staying at Cara's cottage for 2 nights at the end of June. Her cottage was exactly as described, cute yet spacious enough for two guests. It is also in a great location - just a short drive to downtown Napa. When we arrived, Cara was out of town but left us all the instructions we needed. She also left plenty of information on wineries and even a few tasting coupons. I look forward to staying at Cara's cottage again!
My reservation to stay at Cara's place in Napa was pretty last minute but she was very accommodating with my frantic energy and was very quick to respond to necessary correspondences.
Her place is lovely and as Cara was out of town the day I arrived, I got to experience the serenity of her yard and pool area alone. It is lovely.
The cottage is sweet and really is much bigger than the pictures show. The bathroom is pretty, if a little tight, but the use of space is efficient.
The bed was comfy, the linens were good, there were plenty of towels and other necessities, and the pool was a dream.
Cara's instructions for using the place were very clear and easy to follow and I was very comfortable coming and going during my two night stay.
I highly recommend Cara and her sweet cottage in downtown Napa.
Cara was wonderful. The apartment was clean and perfectly situated within Napa. It was exactly what we needed and as described. Would stay there again.
Love the Napa lifestyle -- great hikes and walks, good food and of course the wine! I'm pursuing 52 wines in 52 weeks this year so I can check out all of the amazing places I have not tried yet in Napa and Sonoma and have started a blog www.52weeks52wines. Happy to share my experiences and my lovely new cottage in old town Napa.
