We invite you to stay in our in-law suite nestled in the live oaks. Private beach access is one block away and the town of Duck is 1.5 miles away. Although shops and restaurants are close by, Couple's Hideaway feels peaceful and secluded. This suite is on the ground floor of our two story house; Rylee and Chris live upstairs and take care of our home and guests (as of June 1).

The space
Couple's hideaway is a spacious and comfortable suite located on the first level of our two-story house. You will have a private entrance through the sliding door off the pool deck.

The pool is for your private use, and feels secluded with trees surrounding the property. The pool deck has a large table with umbrella and new outdoor bar/dining area.

The front bedroom has a very comfortable California king bed with an organic Essentia mattress. This bedroom has a TV that is ready for streaming from your devices via HDMI cord. We do not have cable TV.

The back bedroom has a nice view of the oak trees, evening sun and a king sized bed. Blackout curtains are in both bedrooms.

The suite has a full kitchen with four burner stove, oven, refrigerator, microwave, toaster, french press and drip coffee makers, and small Ninja blender. There is a dining table that seats four in the kitchen area. The kitchen is fully stocked with all the cookware that you need to prepare meals. Salt & pepper, some spices, and cooking oil will be available.

Full sized washer and dryer.

We provide toilet paper, hand and dish soap, bath linens, bed linens, laundry detergent, and beach towels.

You will need to bring your own beach umbrella, beach chairs, shampoo, and body wash.

Check in time is 4pm and check out time is 11am.

Our house is located in Southern Shores, very close to the pedestrian pathway that runs 20 miles from Corolla to Kitty Hawk. The town of Duck is 1.5 miles North, where you will find unique waterfront shops and amazing restaurants! Harris Teeter and Walmart are just a few miles South in Kitty Hawk. Private beach access one block away.
