Exceptional place!!! Absolutely unique house and interior! Very friendly and accurate host, the house is fully equipped, but most of all it is the view and the serenity that makes it amazing!

Maire accommodated us at very short notice after our initial airbnb didn't work out. Her place is fantastic. Very clean, comfortable, spacious and tastily decorated. We had everything we needed to cater for us and our 2 small kids. When we did have a question we had a local contact who was very responsive. The view from the large ocean facing windows are second to none. We will be back! - Diarmuid & Jen

What a beautiful house with absolutely everything we needed. Gorgeous views, lovely surroundings. Trisha was fantastic and booking was easy. We loved everything and just wished we had booked for longer! Best to have a car. Perfect for relaxing and immersing yourself in the wilds of the west

Wow - Maire's home is spectacular. The aesthetic quality of her home is outstanding - the open views frame the amazing scenery. It was such a pleasure to rest and read on the beautiful furniture surrounded by views of the varied landscape - sea, mountains and farms - and to make meals in the beautifully appointed kitchen. Everything was in terrific working order and very clean and welcoming. Trisha was most helpful; she answered all our questions promptly and her recommendations certainly enriched our stay. The Lost Valley was an unforgettable experience. Endlessly beautiful and inspiring, it was a true window into the Irish experience. Our time and meal at Glen Keen farm were great. We loved our walks among the farms and down to the sea near the house - we made friends with a donkey and a horse! We truly didn't want to leave!

With a little searching on our drive we found a gem set between the mountains and the sea. This house was everything it says. Seven adults fit comfortably with one single bed to spare. No wifi provided for a nice change on our holiday, board games and puzzles around the fireplace in the evening. Highlights were Whitestrand beach (approx 10 minute drive), a dinner at the Glen Keen farm (suggested by our host), and a great time in Westport listening to local music. We had a car rental the whole time (I would suggest the same). All around a great experience.

We loved our experience and stay at this 'great house in West Ireland' last month. The house has stunning views of the surrounding mountains and Clew Bay which surprised me on arrival. My adult children were content to sit in the window and watch the sun set on the first evening which is certainly a first for them. The house was very well equipped and Trisha explained everything to us on arrival. I had trouble with the upstairs shower but it was simple user error which Trisha helped to quickly clear up for me with a quick phone call. Finding the house would have been difficult but Trisha met us at the church in Killeen and we followed her to the house up a very narrow and windy road. After that, we had it and had many adventures to nearby Croagh Patrick, Achill Island, Westport (great shopping), Kylemore Abbey, and the Connemara National Park. Taking a walk around the house was fun in itself to see the many sheep and a very friendly donkey in the area! For those picking a bedroom, the one on the ground floor at the back is the best with a great state of the art shower and french doors that open onto the back garden with views of Clew Bay and Croagh Patrick. Most of our shopping was done in West Port at the Super Valu. We cooked most of our meals in the kitchen but did eat pizza in West Port one evening.
