Morgan is a perfect host. He is very accommodating and has great communication. Would love to stay here again!
Best location in paris by the louvre and pont neuf. Definitely cool!
Morgan was the absolute best host. Before our arrival, he responded to emails or inquiries promptly, although the information he emailed addressed many questions already, ranging from how to use appliances and wifi in the apartment to cool night life spots in the neighborhood and cafés and bars during the day. Upon arrival Morgan greeted us at the apartment, showed us the place and gave us tips and what to do and when. For example, on certain days the Louvre has longer opening hours. The Louvre and Seine, St. Michel and Notre Dame are all in walking distance. Should there be a bit rain in the air, these places invite you to explore them. A day after arrival Morgan also checked on us to make sure we have what we need.
Compared to the hotel rooms some of our colleagues stayed at, this place was a "suite in heaven," that is one could admire the roof tops and occasional clouds in the blue sky. We appreciated the comfortable bed and the reliable wifi, the tv (to watch the Olympics some) and the living room space. We thought that staying at this house was cool; the old architecture reminded us of earlier times when plumbing was not standard. The apartment, however, has been remodeled into a stylish hideaway and is quiet. Thanks for your hospitality, Morgan!
My husband and I had a great time in Paris. The loft was perfectly clean, had everything that we needed, hot shower (what was a must on some cold days) and well localized. The size was just enough for the two of us. I would not recommend for more than 3 people. Morgan was very helpful and gave us assistance all the time. A welcome team was waiting for us, but unfortunately due weather conditions we got in Paris 15 hours delayed. But the team left us a perfect bag with goodies. I will highly recommend this to my friends.
My husband and I had a wonderful experience with Morgan and his apartment in St Germain des Pres. He was waiting for us there upon arrival, made sure we had everything we needed, and made himself available for any questions during our stay. The apartment was very well located, updated and clean. Know that it's good exercise to come & go -- there are 111 steps to climb to get to the front door (up a beautiful old spiral wood staircase). The view once there is worth it -- look out over St Germain streets and rooftops to the old church tower and hear the beautiful sounds of its bells. I'll also note that the modern window has incredible sound-proofing -- when shut, there is really no street noise heard. The place was a great launch pad for us to see Paris. It is compact -- I would stay there again with 2 of us but not 4.
Great location on Left bank.Lots of neighborhood places to eat, shop and tour.We thought the apt was clean and very comfortable
Morgan met us and helped carry luggage to the 5th floor. It's a wonderful staircase but you better be in good shape.
We used the Paris Metro app and were amazed how well it worked.
We took the RER B to St Michel from CDG and walked to apt (15 min.)You could also transfer at St Michel and take the St Germain 4 train and then your a 3 minute walk.Taxis were 68 Euro ,Metro 2.70 (website hidden) CDG. We used the extra savings to buy great wine at local store. Amazing food. Everyone was helpful at AIRBNB and Morgan followed up with a midweek call. Will definitely recommend AIRBNB
Actually , I hope they do an IPO .I'm a buyer to the concept.
Don't miss Versailles RER C easy from St Michel. Spend 16 Euro's for a semi private tour. It was amazing seeing the private chambers that others do not have access to....Thanks AIRBNB for a solid trip
Wonderful experience in a great neighborhood. Morgan is incredibly helpful, professional and organized.
Morgan was awesome! The place is centrally located near a bunch of cafes and tourist (website hidden) Germain des Pres is a really nice location located in the heart of the city. Morgan waited for us to arrive and helped us with our luggage. I highly recommend
Both Morgan and the apartment were wonderful. Morgan responded promptly to our emails and was helpful in recommending grocery stores, taxi companies, and so on. This apartment is in a great location, as everyone else has noted. You can walk to the Louvre, Jardin des Tuileries, Musee D'Orsay, Musee de L'Orangerie, the Left Bank, Jardin du Luxembourg, Tour Montparnasse, and more. And of course St. Germain des Pres is itself a great district for shopping and eating. It's requires more walking than the average American is used to, and it might not be suitable if you have very young children, but otherwise it's great. We really appreciated having air-conditioning, as Paris had a heat wave the first two days of our stay. The minor drawbacks include: (1) this is up four long flights of stairs -- always tiring after a day of sightseeing in Paris (but good exercise)! (2) The washer worked, but the dryer did not so well. As long as you don't mind hanging up your clothes to dry around the apartment, no problem. (3) Hallway is pitch black at night; we couldn't figure out how to turn on the light. Either make sure you get the "flashlight" app on your iPhone or bring a small flashlight. However, I would not let any of these minor drawbacks prevent you from renting the apartment.
Morgan delivered as promised. He was very prompt and responsive during the booking process. The flat was in great condition, very clean and spotless, and with plenty of towels. The place is not huge but plenty comfortable for the two of us, and would be fine for couples with kids. The area in St Germain cannot be better. I have stayed in other parts of Paris before and this is for sure my favorite part of the city. The neighborhood is lively and central. Overall we had a pleasant stay.
