We had an amazing time at the Wine Trail House. Before we even arrived Paula was in touch and gave great suggestions of what to do in the area. The house is beautiful with a gorgeous view. We had some rain while we were there, but we got to see the most beautiful rainbow from the deck.
Paula provided us with a pack n play for our one year old which worked out well. We loved going in the hot tub and checking out the view (and the stars).
We had a great time at the aquarium, and took a beautiful hike at Nisene Marks State Park nearby. My husband is also now obsessed with the Corralitos Meat market.
We are already thinking about our trip back there as soon as we can.
Definitely stay here if you are looking for a vacation away.
Came here for a romantic getaway for Valentine's Day weekend and really enjoyed ourselves! Paula and her husband were gracious hosts and we would recommend to anyone looking for a peaceful getaway! Hot tub and their dog were cherry on top!
Wonderful place to stay, close to Santa Cruz and Monterey. Accommodations are very nice, we enjoyed cooking in the kitchen and relaxing by the warm fireplace on a cold and rainy weekend. Paula was a great host. A nice quiet property for a girls' weekend.
5 star all the way. Kind and gracious hosts, comfortable and immaculate B&B experience, set on a lovely rural hillside. Local wine and homemade cookie greeting! Thank you, Paula and Ralph! And for business travelers, cell service and internet wireless signal are both strong.
If I were to boil it down to one sentence, it's this: STAY HERE if you are visiting this area.
My girlfriend and I were going to the Santa Cruz area to celebrate our second year anniversary, but we wanted to stay somewhere that was away from the hustle and bustle of a big town. Fortunately, I stumbled upon Paula and Ralph's house in Corralitos, and it truly was an awesome experience.
From the get-go, we opened the fridge to a healthy dosage of cheese, croissants, and some delicious white wine she got for us from a local winery. On Day 1, we got to meet Paula and had a nice conversation of things to do, places to go, and just a good introduction to who her and Ralph were. We also got to play around with her beautiful dog, Shelby, and afterwards we grabbed dinner in Santa Cruz and enjoyed the vibes.
On Day 2, I consulted Paula about where we could get bicycles, and she guided us to a local bike rental spot near a beautiful forest. From there, my girlfriend and I went biking in a forest trail nearby, and had a wonderful time. Afterwards, we visited a nearby winery and enjoyed a healthy amount of wine (the Alfaro Family Vineyard gave us 7-8 wines for our tasting)! By nightfall, we further confirmed the depth of Paula and Ralph's hospitable nature. They pointed us to the BBQ grill in the front, where we cooked delicious sausages that we bought from the Corralitos market down the hill. Paula came out to help light the heat lamp outside, and we had a beautiful dinner in the patio, just viewing the stars, enjoying the wine, and having a great meal.
On our last day, we couldn't ignore that jacuzzi out in front, so we took a dip while enjoying the view once more. It truly is an amazing place that is well-kept and just radiating with hospitality. I had a great, great stay, and my girlfriend did too. Whether you're coming here alone, with a significant other, with some friends/family, whatever, this is an awesome place that will make you feel welcome and relaxed.
Thanks, Paula and Ralph! You guys are awesome!
This was an amazing place. My girlfriend and I stayed here for two nights and three days in our way from LA to San Francisco. Paula and her husband were very kind and lovely hosts, they were very helpful in recommending us places to visit in the area. When we arrived they had a plate of cheese and crackers and some wine ready for us to enjoy. We did so in the hot tub that overlooks the city. The view of the bedroom is breathtaking both at night and in the morning. We highly recommend staying here!
My parents and I stayed at the Wine Trail House and we had a wonderful time. The house is lovely and both Paula and Ralph are great hosts. There are beautiful wineries close by and the scenery is just gorgeous!
Perfect weekend getaway! Ralph and Paula were very wonderful and accommodating hosts. The property is lovely and the house was very cozy. We were even welcomed with a bottle of wine and cheese & crackers! I love when places go above and beyond to make their guests feel welcomed. Thank you so much again for a pleasant time!
This was my first time using Airbnb so I was a bit apprehensive. I must tell you that the experience was wonderful. Paula responded to my request within minutes and was accommodating right from the start. They have a beautiful property and the room was just what we wanted. We had total privacy while there, including use of the hot tub each night we stayed.
Ralph had the fire turned up before we arrived so it the room was nice and warm. Paula had some wine and cheese as well as some fresh eggs for our breakfast. The topper for me was the two passes to the aquarium, which saved us $70 and was a wonderful way to spend the day.
I would highly recommend their place if you are looking for something off the beaten path.
Perfect place to spend a long weekend with our 4-month old. Spacious, comfortable and very easy to come and go. Paula and Ralph are gracious hosts, there is plenty of privacy, and it's a great value. Thank you!
