Price for 6 guests. Guests will have exclusive access to the entire house. This is a unique ecohouse built over an old granite quarry on the foothills of the Anhangava Mountain. With a bird-friendly roof, it offers nesting sites for the native maroon-bellied parakeet. Jaguarapira Reserve was created in 1998 to restore Araucaria and Atlantic Forest. The house has a very good 5G internet via optic fiber.

The space
I built this house over an old granite quarry and left original rocks inside and outside of the house. To build the house, I used mostly recycled materials. The roof is made from plastic and aluminum from recycled Tetrapak and it provides very good heat isolation. Most of the wood is reclaimed and most of the infrastructure comes from demolition.

We collect rainwater from both sides of the house. One goes to a water tank to irrigate plants and cleaning. The other goes to fill a small lake where we raise some fishes.

Where you’ll be

Quatro Barras, Paraná, Brazil

Our 4 acres reserve is part of a 40 acres land that I bought and share with friends back in 1998. This land is located on the foothills of the Anhangava Mountains, a large granite mountain. With this friends, we work to protect this mountain and gave scientific reasons for the government create a State Park in that area. In 2002, the Serra da Baitaca State Park was created, adjacent to our property. Nowadays, we still work together to protect this area. The road to access our property is a cul de sac, and you can get with your car right in front of the house.
