It is on the first floor with a private entrance and is on the private side of the building.
This perfect little space is a studio with a full sized kitchen appliances, dining area, as well as a lounging area, a queen bed and a full convertible futon couch to bed under a single bunk bed and a full bathroom with a shower/bathtub.
The Copper Peak, features an electric fireplace, which also has an ambience setting.
This room also has in floor radiant heat throughout.
Bring your dog, and they can enjoy their private doggie door to a kennel run of their very own right next to your deck, there are also plenty of toys and dishes! We even included an indoor crate. Please note dogs are not allowed to stay behind in the room alone.
The large covered deck are perfect in the hot sun or drizzly day.

Your deck features a gas grill, and Wood fire pit, which we provide both fuels.

Neighborhood highlights

Due to our remote location there are little to few street lights and most neighbors do not leave lights on at night. We also encourage dark skies. Therefore, we do not leave our lights on at night either so be prepared to arrive in total darkness. We do have signs that are illuminated by your lights to show you the way to the guesthouse building. I will put the lights on by the door that you are to check into as well as your name on your door. At times there may be two people checking in and there may be several lights on, so be sure to look for your name.

Winter guests should be prepared to have an adequate vehicle with aggressive tread on their tires or chains to access.

Please also note, we are on the edge of wilderness and wild animals are a probability.

We live at the end of a 1.5 mile road that we plow and maintain, our place sits on 80 beautiful acres in Grand County Colorado in the Rocky Mountains. Our fur babies include a white German Shepherd named Ella, a Tibetan terrier named June and three cats Our chicken coop is in a constant flux of a variety of breeds of layers and three roosters!. We raise a couple turkeys, ducks and several dozen meat chickens every year and raise all sorts of vegetables a 900 sq. Foot garden including a 30’ greenhouse, we hunt every year and try to go fishing when we can. Harvested dead beetle killed wood from the property heats the lodge and our home via an outside wood boiler. Several wild creatures like to call our place home as well, we often see moose, elk, deer, fox, marmots and black bear on the property. We love our lives here and hope to grow very old “doin’ chores”. Our hobbies would be zip lining and exploring colorado.
