The space
Welcome to Little Cedar Lodge, our little slice of heaven near the town of Elizabeth, Indiana. Enjoy the peace and solitude overlooking the quiet private lake (wake speed only), yet close to Caesar’s Casino, golf, wineries, and the city of Louisville with all its activities and nightlife. Great for a romantic getaway for two, or for your entire family. It would also be great for a small church or business retreat. We can accommodate up to 10 if you double up in some beds.

Enjoy the view and peace and quiet of this cabin in the woods overlooking a private 125 acre lake. Watch for the many varieties of wildlife, including ducks, geese, herons, eagles, osprey, deer, turkey, beaver, and others. No highway noise, and very seldom ever even hear an airplane. No boats or jet skis whizzing up and down the lake either, the lake is wake speed only. Even with all that, you are only 20 miles from downtown Louisville. Enjoy your morning coffee on the large screened-in deck overlooking the lake. There are two private bedrooms with queen beds, and a large loft with 4 beds and a futon. The family room and kitchen area are open to the roof line, and the loft railing overlooks the downstairs. When you're not outside, you can enjoy the Smart TV in the family room, internet, and WIFI, along with Netflix and YouTube TV accounts. We have also provided a slew of games and cards, and poker chips.
Family gatherings and such are ok, but no parties with booze please (ie, bachelor parties, etc).

Lake association rules do not allow you to fish, swim, boat, or get on the dock without an owner being present on-site and we are usually not there when we have guests. Also, in order to protect the privacy of our neighbors, if you are a loud and//or rowdy group you might be best served to find another place.

Guest access
Entire house and 1 acre. There is a grass lawn between the house and the lake to get you up close and personal to the water, without getting into the water. Wooded area behind house.

NOTE: the lake is off limits to swimming, fishing, boating or getting on the dock unless an owner is there with you (HOA rules),
